More often than not I pass this woman on my way to work, her walking and me driving, and every time she is quietly but clearly reminding us to not look away. This country is at its best when people of conscious step forward to oppose the bad behavior of the powerful.
I've watched some episodes of the show on ABC called Photo Finish. I didn't find it particularly interesting till the episode last week where the challenge given to photographers was to do some street photography with the mobile phone cameras. Made me think and inspired me to try and get a shot with the iPhone.
So last night when I went to kangaroo point I tried taking some shots of this new tower installed there with the iPhone. I've also seen some shots posted in various groups on flickr and I quiet like the look of images you get with these cameras. Though, nowhere close in IQ to the modern DSLR, I think the look and feel of images would work rather well with street photography. And you get so many apps with these cool filters. I used Instagram for my shots. The shot has ofcourse been processed in CS4 to reduce noise and then to sharpen it. I would love to experiment even more with the phone cameras in the future.
I'm obviously not expecting too many comments or favorites for this one. Its here to express more than impress.
Edited to add - I processed another photo from the same series and I thought it turned out to be even better. Therefore, I changed the original image with the new one.
