360/365 - Our Daily Challenge - "Trend":

Back in the 40's, the Brownie camera was the new trend. Now, you can not only take photos with your phone, but manipulate them with apps. I'm not particularly trendy, so I watched other people have fun with their iPhones for several years before I finally broke down and bought one. LOVE the phone, but I won't be giving up my DSLR for iPhonography. It's obviously a trend tho' as there are several flickr groups dedicated to it. (iPhone pic shot with Hiptsamatic, using the John S lens and Blanko film).

Also submitting to Cliche Saturday: selective color, camera in the frame....it's crawling with cliches!

I managed to hold him for a whole 3 seconds - this was taken in the 2nd second by my Mother with my iPhone.

I promise this is the last of the iphonography for a while. But some of the apps are blowing my mind. Talk about instant gratification. With the aid of a few pointers one can go a long way with that little phone. To this end I've put together a little post on my blog, with a low down of which apps I've been using and their effects. Even if you've no interest in the images, you might like to check it out for the 'toon...enjoy...and thanks for taking the time x

More often than not I pass this woman on my way to work, her walking and me driving, and every time she is quietly but clearly reminding us to not look away. This country is at its best when people of conscious step forward to oppose the bad behavior of the powerful.
