Y'all... this is easier than falling off a log.
Seriously - it is!
Here's your how-to:
Water
Flour (player's choice)
Salt
Sugar
Oil (player's choice)
Ingredients of your choosing
Mix 'em all up (the dough should be easy enough to handle, i.e., not sticky)
Roll 'em out
Cut 'em out
Put 'em on a baking sheet in the oven @450ºF for ~10-15 minutes (the ~ means "approximately")
Take 'em out of the oven & let 'em cool
Seriously, folks... this ain't hard.
Just put in it what you want.
In mine, I used white & wheat flour, lime juice, garlic & onion powder, basil, red pepper flakes, freshly ground black pepper & sunflower seeds.
Next, I blended the dry ingredients.
Then, I added the water, oil & lime juice, and worked the dough ball until it was thoroughly pliable, then rolled it out on a cutting board.
Then, I sprinkled the seeds & basil atop the dough and pressed it into the dough, then cut them out using...
You'll read about what I used in an earlier image.
My feet in the super cool park swing before Sad Remy took it over. Lots of sledding hill action in the back.
Thing One finally this weekend settled on his birthday theme for Sunday's celebration: AVENGERS ASSEMBLE! I'm getting in the spirit!
The kids loved the new Lego Man Target I made and installed in the backyard while they were out of town. And since they gave their dad a new Nerf gun as part of his Father's day goodies, he got in on the fun too. But that's another shot.
Sunday morning on our new covered deck with my man, my coffee, my dog and a digital newspaper. Now we just need real furniture and not these drug store beach chairs.
Made balloons with Princess Fierce for her doll from styrofoam balls covered with a latex ballon, mounted on wire. She was so happy!

An often seasonal treat, prime rib is quite easy to cook.
In fact, while I have investigated numerous other methods, I rely exclusively upon the “closed door” method, which goes like this (you’ll NEVER FORGET THIS!):
1.) Actively cook the cut in a 500°F oven 5 minutes for every pound.
2.) Next, turn off the oven, and LEAVE THE DOOR SHUT FOR TWO HOURS.
3.) Then, it’ll be ready.
How EASY is THAT, eh?
I promise I was only looking for books on herb gardening. I had no idea Georgia would sell such books. It seemed every herb book I found was by yet another for mary jane. I began to think maybe it was a sign I was growing the wrong herbs.
Our last full day in Hawaii and the first time my man and I made it to the beach at the resort. We sat back and enjoyed the sound of the waves and some fruity island cocktails. Life is good!
Princess Fierce wearing her monsterific birthday ribbon I made. Decked out in her Monster best and ready to tackle her day.
Crossed leg, orthodontist waiting room feet...because my 9yo handles his appointments all on his own. Didn't know it would be bittersweet to raise such independent, comfortable around adults, confident children. *sniff*
I LOVE mango! However, extreme allergy to mango skin oils means I have to look like a lunch lady to take advantage of $1 mangoes. But with my homeschooled, non-lunch lady exposed munchkins, Thing Two instead says I look like I'm doing NCIS on the fruit.

I just knew today's photo of the day would be related to our neighborhood's annual fourth of July parade and cookout. Turns out I was very wrong. Princess Fierce fell in the driveway last night playing with neighborhood kids. She was immediately hurt pretty bad. She woke up from the pain but didn't tell us. She wore a brave face all during the parade. But after her facade began to crumble and the tears came. She asked to leave the cookout during the games to go home because she was hurt. I took her straight to the ER and the result was a buckle fracture on her radius. Three weeks in a bright blue cast. The first {and please, last} cast for an R5 member.
Three Ninjas! There was just now a Halloween dress rehearsal to MomMom's house. The R5 are ready to take the streets in three weeks!
Annual Saturday-After-Easter Easter Party at my Peeps house!
And just to be clear "my peeps" are my awesome friends. I sadly have no peeps in my yard. I now need some! A house nearby has the chick peeps in their yard on either side of the street with a Peeps Crossing sign too. Super fun!
"...si sentiva invisibile, inadatto, incompreso. E' il destino di tutti quelli che Sentono troppo. Il destino di quelli che Amano troppo. La via obbligata del troppo pensare... È veder svanire, sotto un velo di incomprensibilità, questo illogico mondo... E restare irremediabilmente soli..." (Anton Vanligt)
One of many barbecue joints in North Alabama, this one is a local franchise, with locations in a close district area. To the best of my knowledge, none are outside of North Alabama. That I'm aware, they have locations in Arab, Hartselle, and Cullman.
Here's a review written on the Hartselle, Morgan County location in Monday, April 2, 2012.
Before going into the 450ºF oven...
Perhaps you're wondering... "Okay... how'd you get such perfectly round, and uniform shapes?"
Well, my friends... it's a secret.
And if I told you, I'd have to kill you afterward.
Seriously however, I used a cleaned empty can which once held tomato sauce.
Dang!
Y'all are gonna' know ALL my secrets!
Then what, eh?
