Project 365. Daily photo from 01/24/2023. Hipstamatic app on iPhone 13: Madalena lens, Blanko Freedom13 film.
As the remaining winter months progress, I am trying to keep an inventory of still life objects, ideas, and arrangements that I can use for my daily photo.

Shot on iPhone 6.
This shot represents a bit of a change for my iPhoneograpy. Today I got my hands on a few Olloclip lenses that slot onto the back of your iPhone.
One of the things I like about shooting with the iPhone is you have a fixed lens and have to work within that restriction.
But... it is a bit liberating just being able to try a different lens. I don't think I'll go wild with the new lenses because I have to take my case off to use them and that's a bit of a pain. But it does give me some new ideas - and that's a good thing when you're half way through your third "iPhone only" 365.
This is the fish eye lens. I also got a macro (which will be VERY handy on those "bugger I don't have a shot yet" days) and one is a telephoto.
Tutti siamo poeti. Basta lasciare andare il corpo e le sensazioni... Il mantra del passo dopo passo. é come raccogliere un sogno... è come ricever saggezza... Passo dopo passo!

Process:
Taken with Gorillacam. When I perform a self-timer shot with Gorillacam, I use a little larger laundry pinch to set the iPhone on the ground. (I sandwich iPhone between two laundry pinches… looks nice.)
Leave the yellow and blue with Coloursplash.
Apply the Fashion filter at 70% in Camera+.
Lighting, Rainbow and Sharpen effect are added in Photo fx.
Contrast adjusted with the tone curve in Photoforge2.
Photo by AMPt member Tammy George (IG: @punkrawkpurl) Title :: block by block... {This image was taken at 5:47 PM on March 24th, 2012 for the @24HourProject. I was over-the-moon to be chosen as one of the 65 photographers representing 35 different cities worldwide. Proud and honored to represent my city, Oakland, California, I completed all 24 hours, 18 of them in the rain. A truly amazing project I highly recommend checking them out here on IG as well as the24HourProject.net for even more info.} Process :: 1. Shot with Hipstamatic using John S + DC. 2. I dropped the image into decim8 and set the FX to Graboid + Xeox {in that order}... I hit "retry" until a version I liked popped up and then saved. Using the same original image, I then changed the decim8 FX setting to Graboid alone and again, hit retry until just the right creation develops and then saved. 3. I then took the Graboid + Xeox version into Snapseed to bump up the brightness and contrast levels, allowing the bricks of the walkway and the lines of the road to pop a bit more... and hit the right arrow to apply those adjustments and then top right arrow to save the image. 4. Next I took both decim8d images into Blender, and using the Multiply Blending Mode I played with the slider until I was happy with the balance of the two images {balancing the details of the brickwork and road lines with the definition of the blocks created by the Graboid FX} and then saved. 5. Back into Snapseed with the freshly blended image, this time using Vintage style 2 and adjusting the brightness and the texture strength up just a squeak... then right arrow to apply the adjustments. Still in Snapseed, and using Tune Image I adjusted the ambience upwards to fill out the tones and details, and then one last time... I hit the right arrow to apply the adjustment and then the top right arrow to save the image. -the end- Tags :: #punkrawkpurl_decim8ns #decim8 #punkrawkpurl_ampt #24hr_mycity #Oakland #streetphotography

AMPt SELECTIONS - Photo by Marco L. (IG @magicmarco ) "Weed is a lot safer than alcohol. Don't you think so? All the problems you've ever had in life was probably because of alcohol. If your boyfriend came home and punched you, he was probably on alcohol. And who would you rather have behind the wheel of tractor trailer? The drunk guy? Or the stoned guy? Stoned guy, right? He's got his seatbelt on. He's driving 5mph. He's all nervous behind the wheel like, 'Jesus Christ! What was that?! Everybody get out. We're walking.' There's certain things you shouldn't do when you're stoned though. You shouldn't hang out with your grandmother. It happened to me once. But it was kinda fun because my grandmother has Alzheimer's. So we were just telling the same story back and forth for like 5 hours. And then she made a whole bunch of cookies and I fuckin' ate 'em all. Then she forgot and made a bunch more and I fuckin' ate 'em all. How about going to church stoned? Bad idea. I was in the pew thinking all kinds of shit. The priest was up there talking and I'm listening. Then I started thinking, 'What if I just yell, 'Bullshit! That can't happen!!' I don't think they'd throw me out. There's no bouncers in church. You could do whatever you want. You could stand up, throw your hands in the air and try to start a wave. You could walk in dressed up like Satan and just sit in the back row, 'Boo!!!!!' - Brian Scolaro Continue Below.... Peace y'all. For those who've never visited my stream before, I'm @magicmarco . And what does that joke have to do with the pic? Not a damn thing. That's how I do. Thanks to AMPt for the feature. But yo, buss it.....what's one of the worse things you've done while high? Or drunk? And for you non ex-potheads, what's the worst thing you've witnessed a drunk or high person do?

Like leaves on a tree, our lives change.
We're born, we live, we age, we die.
And the colors that we have, that we show, come from within the depths of our very being. And as we age, we hopefully mature, and become more colorful.
While the briefest, and most scant of vapours, what we do with our lives while visiting this planet, are what characterize us, for we are known — as is everyone — for what we do, more than what we say.
Sure, we all fuck up every now and then, and I have little-to-no doubt that Jesus of Nazareth did, as well. It's just that we exalt characteristics which we often do not possess, and I assure you, He shat His holy diapers and sucked the teat like everyone born of women.
As a youth, while journeying with His parents and their party/companions, He ran away, to who knows where, among the entourage. His folks got mad as hell, and scolded Him... after they found Him several days later, or so the story goes, and more'n likely, He got a a holy ass-whooping for such behavior.
And as an adolescent male, as all healthy males do, He had nocturnal emissions, which is to say, He had orgasms in His sleep.
NO ONE wants to acknowledge that about Him, and yet, it is common to all males born of a woman.
But you see, the point is NOT about Jesus of Nazareth, but about life, and reality.
Do we genuinely want to be honest with one another, or do we want to tell one another "sweet little lies"?
Benjamin F. Martin, in his book "France in 1938," in the first paragraph of chapter 2, wrote in part that,
"Hypocrisy is the art of affecting qualities for the purpose of pretending to an undeserved virtue. Because individuals and institutions and societies most often live down to the suspicions about them, hypocrisy and its accompanying equivocations underpin the conduct of life. Imagine how frightful truth unvarnished would be."
Indeed...
One's fear prevents love from coming through as much as it prohibits the free expression of love. And it's true... love covers a multitude of sins.
Let us not only love one another with joyous abandon, but open our hearts to love.
Freely you have received, freely give.
As Greg Allman, of the Allman Brothers band, sang in his 1979 song "Can't Take It With You" from the album Enlightened Rogues:
"Can't take it with you, everybody knows
Can't take it with you, when you go
Can't hide your love away, save it up for a rainy day
You can't take it with you when you go"

Man took the kids to help unload a tractor trailer of pumpkins for friends' pumpkin patch in a steady rain. Meanwhile, I sit dry under our deck's tin roof and enjoy the sound of that same rain.
Chocolate fudge cake with peanut butter buttercream icing. Had to create an Avengers cake for my little man that had very little red frosting since he is allergic to red 40. He was super thrilled with this design I devised. Score! More pictures in the birthday set: www.flickr.com/photos/booturtle/sets/72157631738686401/wi...
