Just in case that tropical depression moves into South Florida's "cone of concern" by Monday instead of Tuesday as forecast and I won't be able to see the eclipse, at least I have seen a "reasonable facsimile thereof." :P

Palapa restoration demonstration step #4:
Palapa cone restoral requires some deconstruction prep work. Repair man #3 is readying a palapa for restoration.
Repair man #2 just tossed #3 a bamboo cutter - nice catch #3.
A lie of course, #3 carried the cutter up the ladder and is showing it to us as part of the 12 shot demonstration program - another lie.
This palapa cone looks like it is on life support and should be in intensive care (rubbish heap).
Have breakfast in the Cretaceous period! See the first flowers unfold. Escape just as the biggest mass extinction hits!

I’ve decided to create a project for this year. This is designed to give me a goal, something to make me get out with a camera, or in this case my smart phone and help with my mental health (shutter therapy)
I have already uploaded a few images, but had not decided on what aspect ratio, style or whether to use black and white or colour.
My subject for this project is the demolition of Crewe’s Bus Station and the building of a new entertainment area (not very exciting).
I will try and take one image a week, the demolition for the buildings will be in 16:9 aspect ratio and processed in a cinematic profile. I have as yet how I will take and edit the images.
Now all of this depends on if the building contractors keep the vehicle entrance and don’t board off the area.
