I really don't know what I'm doing anymore. It seems I can't take a picture to save my life anymore. I don't know if it's the camera or me...probably BOTH!! It's like I CAN'T FOCUS ANYMORE. This was taken in the Spring around Easter. But I've just edited it a bit since it's been on my iPad since then. I believe it's a "Mockingbird" what a perfect bird for me to photography "mocking me"! LOL
~ oh well, thanks for being my soundboard. :)

As you can see, Meep is back on his feet (eating his vegetables). I wanted to share his x-rays before and after surgery, and also a picture of him playing yesterday.
He is currently being fostered by my friend Lisa Arturo, and we're looking for a home for him.
If you would like to adopt him, please contact Lisa (her facebook page: www.facebook.com/lisa.arturo.7)
Other than that, last week I asked all my friends to share Fiona's video (we're celebrating a year since her video had gone viral), and I promised that one person will get an iPad3.
and the winner is: Kerry Glancy from Kingman, Arizona :-)
I really appreciate you all for sharing and for helping Hope For Paws pay for surgeries like Meep's surgery.

For just a minute or two early on a sunny morning, the sunlight hits the corner of the glass panels at just the right angle. It acts like a prism, splitting the light into its component colours. The spectrum can be seen on the carpet in the foreground.
By moving my iPhone carefully across the spectrum, I captured the classic ROYGBIV sequence of colours in the lens flare. Pretty!

I'm pretty excited for the new iPad (aka the iPad 3) with its retina display. It seems a great venue for displaying the photos we shoot these days with high-resolution DSLRs.
I've prepared a few photos that I plan to use as backdrops on the new iPad. They're cropped to 2048x2048, to allow for use in both portrait and landscape orientations. I'm uploading them to share with anyone else who might want them. Feel free to download the original size.
Other iPad 3rd generation wallpapers are available in this set.

My brand new iPad 3 with plenty of screen bleeding or light bleeding around the edges.
All of my iPads, from 1 to 3, including 3 separate iPad 2's, have all had screen bleeding. The iPad 3 has the least of any of the one's I've owned, but I still don't understand why it has to be there. Why can't they just seal it 100% around the edge? Why do they have to leave spaces unsealed for light to pour into the beautiful screen?
