After several months of debate (and saving), I have finally taken the plunge & got myself an iPad.
When I first fired it up this morning, I thought it only fair to get the moment on camera. This led to a visit to "the studio" where the iPad was subject to a photoshoot. With the shoot done, I am looking forward to getting to grips with my new toy.

More than many styli I was looking forward to using a Plai eStylo. So much so that I backed it on Kickstarter, even going for one of the higher amounts to get my favourite colour of stylus (orange).
It was successfully backed in December 11 and then... well, there was a bit of a wait until it finally arrived mid May 2012. But hey, these things happen.
Unfortunately, to make matters sadder, I seem to have received a defective unit, or it is NOT as advertised. Only one end works, and only just, it's not magnetic so doesn't stick to the iPad, all that fun stuff. Still slots into the hand nicely and I like the wood material choice. Hoping to hear back from their support side soon. Drew this, just to see if it would click, but with a VERY narrow connection angle it's almost unusable. Sad.

Focused on my fence here when all of a sudden 'Squeakie' runs by! The squirrel is called a "Squeakie" because where I used to live there was a squirrel who had made friends with "Stormy" my cat. 'Squeak' always came by to sit on the window sill while 'Storm' was "safely" inside. When we moved Stormy looked for Squeakie for the longest time. (Unlikey Friends separated)
