You can compare iPad Pro 2018 with a student who has just completed the graduation and now heading to start a career. IPad Pro promises greater performance as compared to all of the other tablets available in the market. In fact, Tim Cook, CEO of #Apple, sees iPad Pro as a fully qualified PC from the perspective of performance. But is it really the right computer for you? Let’s discuss a bit about it.
A thinner tablet (or computer)
IPad Pro 2018 has something missing but you may not miss it, i.e. the traditional home button. Hence, it has an edge-to-edge display which seems amazing. The thin bezels of same width are available on all sides of the display.
The back of the #iPad is secured with the 5.9mm aluminum which feels really sturdy. Unlike the previous models, the back of this iPad is flatter. Looking at its design, you will find it pretty close to redefined iPhone 5.
Depending on the model you choose, the screen size can be 11 to 13 inches. The display is based on LCD. The corners of display are rounded, just like what you see in iPhone XR.
Another great feature of this tablet is that it comes with a face ID. The camera, sensors and image processing capability of this tablet allows you to lock and unlock the device in much securer way. With this feature, you will never feel the need of a fingerprint scanner or password to secure the tablet.
This tablet has a 7-megapixel front camera which you will find pretty amazing during a video chat. And the 12-megapixel rear camera is of the #iPhone X-series standard.
Powerful like a PC
The outside of the iPad Pro 2018 is quite impressive. And the good news is that the inside of this tablet is impressive in the same way. This tablet is equipped with an A12X Bionic chip, which is surely the tablet version of the #A12 #processor. Thus, you can expect the performance of this tablet equating that of a laptop.
According to a claim by Apple, this tablet is better than 92% of the laptops, in terms of performance, in the recent year. Those laptops also include the ones with Core i7 processors. The graphic prowess of this tablet is compared with an Xbox One S. And Apple seems to be right in this claim because no app has been made to break a sweat of this tablet.
This tablet is a huge attraction for the photographers and video editors due to its storage capacity. The internal capacity of this tablet is 64GB but you can bump it up to 1TB.
Pencil or Keyboard
It is entirely up to you whether you want to use a Pencil or a keyword with iPad Pro 2018. The Pencil, which you will need to buy separately, can be used for the smooth drawings on the tablet screen. It’s perfection if you ask anyone. And if you want to do your office work which involves a lot of typing and organizing of other documents in an official manner, you can use a keyboard. Adding a keyboard and mouse will turn this tablet into a computer you wouldn’t regret buying.
The verdict
You may wonder if an 11-inch ($799) or 13-inch ($999) iPad Pro can replace your MacBook or Mac PC. Well, it depends. But you will agree with the fact that this tablet is the most powerful tablet money can buy.
The iPad made bringing your work home with you easy. IPads open up the world to the grey area between phones and computers, making something that is super light weight and easy to carry, yet powerful enough to take home and complete the necessary tasks of every day life and work.

Moleskine iPad Case Reviewed
So I've been using the case for a month now, I think it is appropriate for me to do a simple review here. You will find it useful to decide whether it is for you or not, provided that it is a ~HK$800 case, you don't want to make the wrong choice.
Simply said, if you are using your iPad mostly lying flat or on conference table and you need that professional look, it suits you well. But if you also use it casually on sofas, bedroom or in transit, I wouldn't recommend it.
It is a great idea to have a hybrid and Moleskine did a great job fulfilling both analog and digital needs in one product. The draw back is its weight and clumsiness when you need mobility at the same time.
Although it is thoughtful to allow both lefties and righties to choose the orientation (you can invert the case and insert the notepad the other way around), for a righty like me, the iPad is on the front cover which makes opening the case a bit too heavy and unstable. Once you loosen the elastic band, you tend to open the case from the back cover, in that case the notepad pages flew. Not a problem if you are using it on a table, but I tend to avoid opening the case in the air.
One serious design flaw IMHO is that when the case is closed, because of the soft spine, the front and back cover is not snapped into an exact secure closure, as a result the edge of the PU holding the iPad rubs against the notepad. Soon you will find the notepad frays on the edge. Not a good sight.
I am perfectly happy with the quality of the cover even though after a month's use the soft spine will show wrinkles, but I can accept that. There is one missing feature given that it is mostly intended to be used on a table, a pen holder. Well, in fact I think we need two pen holders. One for your typical pen, the other for a stylus.
In case you wondered, I've tested 3 stylus for iPad: Just Mobile, Tunewear and Elago. The one you've seen in picture is from Elago and so far I think it is the best in the market because of its handy size and reliable tip.

First digital art since the start of the year, feels like the first day off work too lol.
Couple of hours messing around in Sketchbook Pro.
These work with any capacitive screen or trackpad such as the Apple iPad, iPhone, or iTouch.
Materials: synthetic kitchen sponge such as the Scotch Brite sponge. Use a new one right out of the package. Old dried up sponges don't work. Use the soft part, not the pot-scrubber, scratchy part of the sponge. You can cut off a piece and trim it with household scissors. I start with a piece about 1/2 inch (1.2 cm) square and an inch (2.5 cm) long. Later I trim it down to about 1/4 inch (5 mm) in diameter. You'll also need some aluminum foil.
I discovered that the material that holds the sponge has to conduct electricity. I guess your fingers (and body) act as a ground. So plastic pens, straws and other holders don't work.
1. Mini Maglite. I unscrewed the lens and popped out the lamp and its holder and took out the batteries and stuck a piece of sponge in the end. This worked well and felt comfortable in the hand, but in practical use the tip was too big. It was no better than drawing with my index finger.
2. Pentel stainless steel body pen. I unscrewed the tip which also included the ink cartridge on this pen. This left the barrel and the cap. I made a stylus with a piece of sponge rolled up in some aluminum foil and stuck it in the end of the barrel. This makes a very nice stylus. You can replace the cap and it looks like a normal pen that you can carry with you in a shirt pocket or bag.
3. Sponge and aluminum foil. This one is the easiest and fastest to make. It's very nice to use. It's lightweight and you can use it at any angle. Just fold some aluminum foil over half of the piece of sponge, compress it, and continue to roll, compress, and crumple the foil until you have the diameter and length of pen you want.
4. Plastic drinking straw and aluminum foil. This makes a very nice, lightweight, and rigid stylus. Roll a piece of sponge between your fingers to compress it and work it into the end of a straw. Then wrap the straw with aluminum foil and secure the ends with clear tape. I also ran a piece of tape on the seam of the foil along the length of the straw. Be sure to have some foil wrapped around the sponge. I cut the straw to be about 6 inches (15 cm) long. I put sponge at both ends of the straw. That way it doesn't matter how I pick it up; it always works. Also, it's fun to tell your friends that one end is for drawing and the other is for erasing. I do a little drawing in Brushes and then hold up the stylus and make a big deal of turning it over while secretly double tapping the upper left corner of the screen with my left hand to change from brush to eraser. This bit of misdirection works every time. For added amusement I hand them the stylus and let them try.
5. Just a short version of #4. This one works well for detail and it's easy to carry around as a spare.
I found that my home made styli worked better than the one I purchased for $10 and they were fun to make.

Setting Desktop In MAC OS X
Here are the easy steps you can take to make use of our cool desktop pictures in Mac OS X:
1.Choose right size depending on your monitor, save the picture you want to use to the place on your hard drive where you normally keep images. Most of the time this will be the Pictures folder inside your user folder.
2.Open the System Preferences application from within your Apps>Utilities folder.
3.Select the Desktop and Screen Saver module within System Preferences.
4.Find the folder that contains the picture you just saved and then select it from the list on the right. If you need to set a viewing preference (tile, center, etc) do so now.
That’s it, you should see your desktop picture change instantly to the desired image. Its that easy!You can also change the background by pressing the Control key and clicking the desktop, then choosing Change Desktop Background from the shortcut menu.

Setting Desktop In Iphone
There are a couple of ways to make use of our cool wallpapers on your iPhone. The easiest way is to surf to the image on the iPhone (with firmware 2.0 or later) and press and hold the image. You’ll then see a pop-up menu that will allow you to save the image to your photos library. Set as wallpaper and you’re done.
If you’re looking to save the wallpapers from your Mac or PC, here are the steps you’ll need:
1.Right-click or control-click on the image you want to use.
2.Select “Save as…” and save the image to your hard drive.
Mac users can either save the image to a folder or add it to their iPhoto library.
PC users will want to save the wallpaper into their “My Pictures” folder.
You can then sync the iPhone with photos in iPhoto 4.0.3 or later on a Mac, or Photoshop Album 2.0 or later or Photoshop Elements 3.0 or later on a PC. Or you can sync with any folder on your computer that contains images. Connect the iPhone to your computer and do the following:
1.Launch iTunes then click the Photos tab and select “Sync photos from:”
2.From the pop-up menu, do one of the following:
If your using a Mac, choose iPhoto or your Pictures folder.
If you’re using a PC, choose Photoshop Album, Photoshop Elements, or your My Pictures folder.
3.Choose Folder, then choose any folder on your computer that has images.
4.Choose “All photos,” or choose “Selected folders” or “Selected albums” and choose the folders or albums you want to sync.
5.Navigate to the Settings application on your iPhone, and choose the appropriate group of photos where you saved the wallpaper, then tap the image and set as wallpaper.
That’s it, you should see your custom wallpaper on the iPhone’s start-up screen as well as for incoming calls that do not have a contact assigned to them.

Setting Desktop In WINDOWS
Here are the steps you can take to make use of our desktop pictures on your Windows XP desktop:
Find the picture you want to use.
Choose right size depending on your monitor.
Load the picture into your browser window by clicking on correct size.
Once the picture loads into the browser window the steps are slightly different depending on your browser.
For Internet Explorer:
Wait for the picture load into your browser window.
Right-click your mouse and choose Set As Background from the pop-up menu.
For Firefox:
Wait for the picture load into your browser window.
Right-click your mouse and choose Set As Desktop Background from the pop-up menu.
Alternatively, you can simply download the desktop picture to any folder that you have specifically designated for this purpose.
Then use your Display control panel to set the desktop picture.
