Negative art for !masterclass! -trial version (Negative Art). The darker purple in the center provides for a nice glow when inverted, and the green background makes a nice purple to contrast the green. Simple invert of the thistle found here.
Inverted image of green leaves overexposed white sky. Hue/sat adjusted to get these colors. The tone effect is due to back light & shadows of leaves.

Had some fun with lights in a dark room with long exposure; make it inverted in Photoshop and this is the result.

This is an inverted image (i.e. negative) of the full moon where I've returned the background sky to black to provide more apparent contrast in the final image.
Note how this negative image highlights the bright ray systems of the full moon.
The original full-color photo that this image was based upon was taken with an Astro-Tech 72mm aperture telescope that was mounted to a Nikon D5100 DSLR.

This is one of the most fun, confusing and, forgive me for saying, mind-fucking makeup I've ever done! I spent the whole time talking to myself like an idiot so I wouldn't mess it up ... it was like my brain couldn't comprehend that the highlights had to be dark and the shadows had to be light! A really interesting experience!!!
