Took this photo of the Whirlpool Rapids on the Niagara River and inverted it. I think the results are interesting.

Inverted colours scan of a print of a polaroid 665 negative.

25th June 2011, Polaroid 355 Camera with Polaroid 665 film (expired 1998). Negatives cleared in sulphite and printed onto Ilford MGIV paper. Scan, invert colours and curves in the Gimp.

The 665 film has heavily solarised the whole image. Interestingly, apart from one spot on the nose the face is almost perfectly inverted. That's why I've scanned the wet print and inverted the tones here. (The human eye does not like inverted faces, though it tolerates inverted cars.) Next stage is to reproduce my digital tonal changes on film by copying to film and re-enlarging.

The inverted dome in terminal 3 at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv. It has a weird water feature that looks like a badly leaking roof!

Much of the reinforcement is " [ " shaped and will be in the invert, walls and deck.
