The 400 watt Xantrex inverter being installed in our RV on Wed, 23 Jan 2008 to power the entertainment center. It is smaller than the unit I had in the Sea Breeze but that rig had 440 amp hours of house batteries while we only have 220 here. We can also charge small batteries like cell phones & cameras plus power our laptop computers. It is a full sine wave unit so provides pure 120v power.
Inverter board. ST GIPL16k40 power module with supporting components. This first board has the footprint for the power module inverted and I had to bend every one of the pins to the to mount the chip on the top side. Bottom of the board holds most of the passive components that are required to run this module.
