In addition to photography and traditional media such as watercolor, I also enjoy creating digital art. I utilized Photoshop CS2 and a Wacom "Intuos" graphics tablet for this image.
This image is part of the series I compiled during junior year for my Ideas in Art Honors class. It tells the story of a falconer as he captures, trains, and eventually lets go of his raptor. This series was meant to convey love and loss in an unconventional but at the same time relatable way. After all, it revolves around the classic phrase, "If you love something, let it go; if it doesn't return, it was never yours to begin with."
This is the second to last piece in the series. Pictures 11 and 12 are also a part of this series.

This is a 100% digital illustration I created using my Wacom Intuos 3 pen & tablet, Windows 10 home built computer, Photoshop CC 2021 & ArtRage 6. ArtRage is a fantastic digital painting app that attempts to create the experience of using natual painting media (oil, chalk, watercolor, pencil, etc) and very inexpensive.
just some random sketching on my new Intuos4. Trying out different brushes, pressure, etc etc. Awesome drawing pad.
