A Short Storyby AnonymousWenna Giantbulb looked at the crumpled piano in her hands and felt irritable.
She walked over to the window and reflected on her creepy surroundings. She had always loved dirty Liverpool with its ill, impossible igloos. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel irritable.
Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Hector Johnson. Hector was an intuitive elephant with handsome moles and ginger toes.
Wenna gulped. She glanced at her own reflection. She was a clever, violent, port drinker with fluffy moles and pretty toes. Her friends saw her as an attractive, anxious angel. Once, she had even revived a dying, kitten.
But not even a clever person who had once revived a dying, kitten, was prepared for what Hector had in store today.
The clouds danced like hopping snakes, making Wenna surprised.
As Wenna stepped outside and Hector came closer, she could see the burnt smile on his face.
"Look Wenna," growled Hector, with a patient glare that reminded Wenna of intuitive badgers. "It's not that I don't love you, but I want justice. You owe me 7066 dollars."
Wenna looked back, even more surprised and still fingering the crumpled piano. "Hector, I am your father," she replied.
They looked at each other with calm feelings, like two grubby, grated giraffes jogging at a very cowardly accident, which had jazz music playing in the background and two clever uncles laughing to the beat. bit.ly/3n3mZtV

Surreal Automatism - I do a big squiggle and find something in it
She is blowing her horn and listening and she is transformed. She is listening to her inner voice as a transformed entity: You listen to the Truth that comes from your heart as a guide - You are highly psychic and you know what will happen - you need to know that for action you take today. Love. This message comes from the heart and the mind and eyes refute it. It takes deliberate straining to hear the message which then seems to be for everyone else because it seems so unlikely but that is the challenge - to listen to the messages of the heart for the Transformed Self.

Intuitive reflection about the father figures I've had in my life. Done using a mix of materials, including watercolor and spray cans. 140x100 cm.
One of the exercises in Carla Sonheim's book Drawing Lab For Mixed Media Artists involves painting random blotches of watercolors and then drawing animal shapes out of them. Here's an earlier photo of the spread in progress.
