I discovered this hanging from the Red Maple in the backyard. The poor tree isn't doing well and any new growth just dies. I think the fact that the liquid is orange may be Maple Sap.

Yonder out forth to the chill of an October eve and find yourself happy as can be. Be forewarned as when the winds shout with a howl and the moon is full, know that winter is coming and soon the snow is all we'll see.

I did some more of this nonsense. Because I couldn't think of anything else.
Lampist: One plastic clip light fitted with an R50 swinging about camera front.
It's been a little while since I posted a beach that wasn't The Bulb, and I've had this one waiting in the wings since the last time I was in Orange County. It's the Newport Beach boardwalk, fresh after a rain.
I won't be obvious and explain this one too much. You know.
Production : Association Swaggers & Marie Barrot
I dunno if this is northside or southside cos these yokes are pretty much slap bang in the middle of the river ... the spooky no man's land of Dublin!

I spotted this fly as I passed the flowers in a nearby park and managed to get this shot.
I'll be the first to say that it may look a little over processed, it almost looks like an HDR, but I really only bumped up the contrast and saturation a little.

- Stop right where you are, you ... pink booger!
See this badge here on my purse? It says I am law and order here, and I say, return under the stone whence you crawled out from. Now!
Or else ... you'll have to have to ask yourself a question: "Do I feel lucky?"
Well, do you ... phunk?

Better large on black
...someone told me recently, "the best camera you have, is the one you have on you!"
i only had my DROID on this day...but i submit it ~ as is ~ for Tipsy Tuesday...
...a cool and TRUE Italian, restaurant in Montrose, where elegance and rural Italian community recipes meet in the middle!

i hope you can accept this image, that comes in the middle of a week that is unaccountable yet here right now for the taking!
eeeegads...that sounds so "serious" but it is not, it is just that it matters... =) as it was delicious in food, in wine and in friend...

If this is the same little toad I photographed last time it's grown!

I had thought this was an American Red Squirrel because of it's colouring but it has no tufts on it's ears. I have never seen a red or a black squirrel here.
- Okay, according to the map, this island is the place.
- But it doesn't say where on the island, does it?! We can spend a lifetime digging holes in the sand and still end up with nothing... So, now what?
- Dunno... Perhaps look for the X, that marks the spot?
- Oh, get serious, willya? This is real life, not some damn cartoon!

Shot through a window at night, hand-held, camera stabilised against window bars
(couldn't do much about the window reflection though - I tried to 'shop it out later as much as I could)
Much better large on black
Smokey skies mixed with fog drew my attention to this stand of trees in the middle of a field. I added some texture to give it more interest.
Artificial lake located at Dai Ninh, somewhere in-between Bao Loc and Da Lat (Vietnam).
