Busy day in Manchester Today. First a protest by Unison, then an interview by MusicMagpie on the street.
The first interviewer handed out some labels jokingly, and that is something that Donny just can't take seriously. After everyone put on labels of other names, Donny collected and placed all of them on himself.

The Full Dollar project is a collaboration Departures, Outpost for Contemporary Art artist-in-residence Xavier Andrade and a team Occidental College media art students, who will examine the tradition of fine art and hand-painted signs in the north east neighborhood of Los Angeles, Highland Park. The project culminates in the fall with a revitalization effort to generate fixtures of artwork on select storefronts on York Boulevard led by Andrade’s Full Dollar Collection, five groups of sign painters, contemporary visual artists and business owners. The past 2 weeks have kind of been a media flurry for me. The lovely Maddie Flanigan of the sewing blog Madalynne.com did an interview with me about my job at Pierre's Costumes. A week and a half later Philadelphia Magazine did a photo shoot with me for an upcoming interview also with me about being a seamstress specifically for costuming. I have never had this kind of attention even with reviews of shows I have costumed before for theater in Philadelphia. I feel that this has been quite the honor to be recognized for all of the work that my staff and I put into the costumes at Pierre's.

Chris Carr interview. The MC talking to Chris Carr about his record breaking ride at the Bonneville Salt Flats. I wanted a picture of him but when I got close to the victory circle I couldn't understand the P.A. so I missed part of the interview. The only place I could understand the P.A. was near turn 4 and the victory circle was down at the end of the front stretch.
Chris is a 7 time Flat Track champ and tonight he was only 9 points out of first. Too bad his engine went bad on the first lap of the feature.
