Almost ready for my interview. I re-did the tie after taking this picture so that it came down a bit farther. I must have a longer-than-normal torso, because the thin side of the tie was only about 7 inches long.
Trish Levido and Zoe Dobson have been undertaking oral history interviews, for the Mosman Local Studies Collection, for a number of years.
They presented a demonstration of an oral history interview to show how simple, stress free and entertaining an interview can be for all those involved.
Part of the 2010 National Trust Heritage Festival at Mosman Library, 9-24 April 2010.
The theme of this year’s festival allows us to recognise the contributions local people have made in shaping their community. To this end a series of workshops have been devised – Stories to Tell – to facilitate the recording of ‘everyman’s life’.
I done an interview with artist Marcia Furman earlier this week, she's popped it up on her blog if you fancy a look!
I can't say I'm that good at answering questions but I tried my best so hopefully someone will find it interesting.

Efter 25 minutters snak sagde jeg farvel til Torben. Selvom vi ikke er politisk enige, swingede vi godt sammen. Jeg glæder mig til at se resultatet, når vi ruller over Dk4's skærm den 1. september klokken 21:30.

This book gives step-by-step advice for the entire process, from figuring out what you might like to do for a job to what to do after the interview is over. The detailed advice on finding jobs to apply for, writing a cover letter, calling a prospective employer, and preparing for the interview is fabulous. It has a lot of great advice along with several exercises to get you going on each step of your job search.
A year ago I organized 60 or so on camera interviews with notable people related to Plymouth State University. Ernest Thomspon, the author of On Golden Pond was one of them.
The subjects were all shot against a green screen, we were going to make it a clean white background in post.
Sadly, all the material was lost due to human error. This photo is nearly all that remains of the project.
