Big Wheel in the old town of Cottbus in black and white

A lightning during the greatest lightning storm of Thessaloniki at 17-6-2009. That's my favorite lightning pic and I have taken plenty of them, I love photographing lightnings. If god exists, that moment could be a moment of his presence.

Love, love, love Midge! I need to get Barbie, Raquelle, Nikki, and Teresa ASAP!

Hope you guys like! :3

NS 7116 heads up the elusive NS local on its way out of Champaign. The short train passes by the classic approach searchlight after having been delayed by CN, whose northbound sat across the diamond for a good forty five minutes or so. That intervention gave me the chance to get out of work and shoot the local on my lunch hour - and hey, I didn’t even have to skip lunch to do it. Timing is everything, and the timing on CN and NS there couldn’t have been better.

Mission Log: Sgt. 'Chop'

2nd Regiment of the 253rd Legion.

//Log Entry//

After reaching the surface with the senator I regrouped with my Squad. We were told the Calamari royal family were still trapped in the west tower of the palace. Our orders were to take underwater speeders and extract them safely to the 'Hammer' while 1st regiment gave us cover. The palace was taking heavy damage from manta-droid patrols and my speeder took a hit so we we had to swim for it. We were lucky to get out in one piece.

After a dull sunrise all of a sudden, the clouds cooperated for a short moment letting a mastic moment of light unfold...

Be careful when shooting this great location on the Faroe islands and make sure to keep a close eye on windgusts and the wind direction. One wrong step and it is a very long way straight down into the sea :D

This was my attempt at a minimalistic poster, and honestly, I don't think it's too shabby.

Greetings from Thailand.

“I do not like it.

The situation is all but under control. Nothing could spoil this harvest save one circumstance...

The she-human must be relieved of the she-spy's gatemaking device before she learns of its existence, or as soon as possible...whichever comes first. I trust you will impress upon the target replacer the importance of discretion, Commander.”

“Of course, Your Majesty. It will be confiscated while she is in the unconscious state the humans call 'sleep'.”

Mushroom mycelia (can you believe Reldan thought they were roots?) make an excellent fire...so warm. A perfect ending to another hard day of walking. So tired, though...

Tomorrow we're leaving this desert...

“Good night, Reldan. Are you going to sleep?”

“I was going to keep watch; I'm not too tired yet. Good night, Quane.”

Clearing a space in the sand...curling into a ball...ahhhhhh.

Wha-

What the...my bag is moving...Reldan?

“Reldan? What are you doing?”

“Aaaaaugh! Nothing...”

“Were you...searching through my stuff?”

“No, not searching, no. I wanted some water.”

He's holding something small and black...hiding it from me? He's not supposed to keep any secrets from me...

“What's that?”

My now-piqued curiosity outstretches an arm and sends my fingers probing toward the object he's trying to hide behind his back.

“Please, I don't want you to hide things from me; you can trust me...Reldan!”

He tries to back away but I move toward him and he unbalances, dropping it.

“No!”

Light-a rectangle of light?

Yes-springing out of the black device. I walk over to look.

“Come back, Quane, it's dangerou-”

Arms sprout from the glowing polygon and grab at me...my legs...IT'S GOT ME AAAAAUUUUUGHHHH

Reldan is rushing forward to help me, but...it's too late.

A heavy something is hitting my head and-

I'll be honest, I don't like having to doll up the photos this much. Seems sort of like cheating. Regardless, there won't be any more glowing mushrooms to edit in the future, hopefully...

Besides the usual complaints about my self-inflicted post-production torments, I genuinely hope this does not confuse you. It is not meant to; I'm beginning to wrap up the story arc.

I strive to give to others a sense of sacredness, because an art event is not just a formal fact but also a moment where you put a mark on your dedication. You must have a feeling of joining a tribe where there is the stick of command, because you are in a sacred place with its rules…

Since April 2011, the sculpture "A Swan in the Distance" has stood in the Provenierssingel. This artwork was created by visual artist Klaas Gubbels at the request of local residents.

The central motif in Klaas Gubbels' work is the coffee pot. With minimal intervention, he evokes a different image each time. He works with simple shapes, clean lines, and striking colors. He is no stranger to a touch of humor: he named four stacked bright orange coffee pots (painted bright yellow in 2022) "A Swan in the Distance." In Gubbels's view, the brightly colored sculpture harmonizes perfectly with the darkness of the water and the green of the trees.

I know they are working out the kinks and everything, but I just had the notion to make this. I used a few highlighters. Perhaps I need help too.

Amy Winehouse--Rehab

I heard on the late news last night that there was a submarine parked at Canada place. Well it's only a short walk to get there from where I live. I thought I might be able to get some interesting shots.

Today the rains have returned.

It happens every year. I wait eagerly for my peonies to bloom - they do - rain comes immediately and wipes them out! So, a yearly intervention is in order - the fluffiest, most vulnerable of the lot are clipped and brought in for a few more days of enjoyment before they are completely drowned!
