Battle Group Poland and 15th Mechanized Brigade conduct a Road March with U.S., U.K. and Polish tactical vehicles from Bemowo Piskie Training Area to the Sulwalki Gap and then to the Polish Lithuanian border June 18. The multinational formation will be performing wet gap crossings in Lithuanian as part of the joint training exercise Iron Wolf which is held in conjunction with Saber Strike 17. The exercises include integrated and synchronized deterrence-oriented training designed to improve interoperability and readiness of the militaries of the 20 participating nations throughout the Baltic region and Poland.

Exercise Steadfast Jazz 2013 is taking place from 1-9 November in a number of Alliance nations including the Baltic States and Poland. The purpose of the exercise is to train and test the NATO Response Force, a highly ready and technologically advanced multinational force made up of land, air, maritime and special forces components that the Alliance can deploy quickly wherever needed. The Steadfast series of exercises are part of NATO’s efforts to maintain connected and interoperable forces at a high-level of readiness.

AN/TRC-170 tropospheric scatter systems are utilized during a communications field exercise with Company B, Marine Wing Communications Squadron 28 at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., March 3, 2016. The MWCS-28 incorporates numerous systems ranging from single-channel radios to systems with an emphasis on interoperability and beyond line-of-sight communications for a broad spectrum of information services. During the exercise, Bravo Company provided their own Tactical Air Operations Center, Tactical Air Command Center and simulated unmanned aerial vehicle squadron requests, giving the Marines a broader understanding on what roles requesting agencies play during operations within a communications squadron.
