Battle Group Poland U.S. and U.K. soldiers flip tires during the battle group’s first multinational Spur Ride at Bemowo Piskie Training Area, Poland, July 1-2, 2017. Per cavalry tradition, soldiers must complete a series of gruelling mental and physical tests to earn the honor to wear silver spurs. SHOALWATER BAY TRAINING AREA, Queensland, Australia (July 10, 2011) – Australian cooks at the Camp Growl dining facility in Shoalwater Bay Training Area form an assembly line to produce “hot packs,” meals-to-go, during Talisman Sabre 2011 July 10, 2011. TF KM20 provides a unique opportunity to enhance relationships in the Republic of Palau. The Koa Moana task force has taken extensive measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. The health and safety of U.S. service members and Palauan citizens participating in TF KM20 is an enduring priority. Prior to deploying, all exercise members participated in a three-week quarantine.
