These were the toilet flushes in a restaurant in Brighton. The handle was actually a toilet roll holder, but there wasn't any. Hence 2 out of 3 stalls had the handle turned as people tried to flush the toilet that way.
On the left, the standard Palm interface. It has a scrollbar on the right, and icons that look like they came straight from Win95.
On the right is a shot of TouchLauncher, with a custom background, icons "borrowed" from the iPhone, as well as others, and instead of a scrollbar, the arrows in the bottom-right slide to the next screen for additional icons.
Screen capture software is called Snap (freeware).

The Windows Vista operating system does more security checks than Windows XP. Here is an example, with a particularly poor user interface design. The balloon does not make it clear that the user needs to right-click on the icon to see a menu where it is possible to unblock the startup programs. Just clicking on the icon (as the balloon suggests) leads to a dialogue box where it is not possible to unblock the programs.

Pellon SF101 Shape-Flex is an all purpose, woven, fusible interfacing. It provides crisp support for collars, cuffs, yokes, pockets, facings, and other detail areas of a garment. It can also add body and permanent stability when used as a backing for needlework and punch embroidery. Shape-Flex is intended for light to medium woven and knit fabrics, including oxford cloth, chambray, gingham, madras, tattersall, pincord, flannel, and polyester/cotton blends. To pre-shrink, fill a sink with warm water. Place interfacing in water for about ten minutes. Do not put in washer or dryer by itself or you may loosen the adhesive. Gentle squeeze out excess water and allow to dry.
