After the power plant and the cooling tower, here come pictures of the offices, including the baths, cafeteria as well as workshops. And, a little farther, a former Intercom coal distributor (big metallic structure).
Adler Mannheim, the ranking champion in the German ice hockey league (Deutsche Eishockey Liga or DEL), has adopted Riedel Communications’ award-winning Bolero wireless intercom and Bolero S managed communication service for its 2019/2020 season.
Event technology service provider LLeyendecker has made a major investment in our powerful wireless intercom solution. Bolero made its debut at PROCHRIST LIVE!
Intercom panel and stereo speaker. Warning: intercom details and geekery below.
Some rooms (I believe here, the music room, and the bench room) had these large intercom speakers in pairs, for stereo sound; one of each pair was the master, having tone, function and call/answer controls. The smaller single intercom panels, which could still play music and call/answer, were in all four bedrooms, the upstairs hallway bathroom (really!), the sun room (despite the fact that you could hear anyone talking in the kitchen, where the main intercom master was, from there) and the dining room, with simple answer speakers at the front, side and back doors that also had doorbell buttons, making a total of twelve stations. For all I know, there was another in the guest house and/or garage. The intercom panel was not the type which could access stations individually, though even if it had been a master that can operate 16 extensions doesn't necessarily mean sixteen are installed. This was a decentralized system, where the individual panels have talk/monitor/listen controls but the master panel doesn't have switches for the stations, just a general inside, outside, both, off.

This year, the ORF broadcast of the Vienna Opera Ball 2018 was supported by Bolero as well as radio technology connecting the OB vans. At the event, we were responsible for the supervision of the intercom system.
The apartment has a bunch of security doors so you need to buzz in on the intercom to visit.

Went to an auction at this very odd house in a gated neighborhood.
Not the kind of place I can generally afford to visit, it featured retro-fancy features, such as indoor balconies overlooking a sun room, gigantic hot tubs and bath tubs and toilets with no privacy (??), vintage intercom system, fireplaces, wood-burning stoves, etc.

What a surprise! I was ripping out the old 1978 Nutone intercom system in our home when I discovered this old can inside the wall, sitting on top of the main control box just like the installer had left it some 30+ years earlier.
It reminded me that Country Club Malt Liquor was my vice of choice back in my early 60's high school days!
Malt liquor is an American term referring to a type of beer that has an artificially-induced high alcohol content and is therefore considered too alcoholic (above 5%) to be marketed as “beer.”
The first widely successful malt liquor in America was Country Club!
I suppose it is still made, and the reason I never see it anymore is because grocery stores and beer stores cannot sell it in Tennessee due to its high alcohol content. You'd have to look for it in liquor stores!
The entire #RIEDEL team in South Korea were certainly Lords of the Rings! Thanks for making communications at the games a huge success!
Installed the intercom on my FJR. Also built a switched 12v hookup box to put under the seat (since the battery is under the fairing). Works great.
For now, the connections to the Starcom1 are dangling out the grab handle I use to put the FJR up on its centerstand. I have the bulkhead kit, and will be installing it later.

Here is my video review of the "Levana LV-TW501 Safe N See Digital Video Baby Monitor with Talk-to-Baby Intercom and Lullaby Control" (shoo, that's a mouth full). Hopefully this review will help you decide on this product or not. If you have any questions please post a comment and I'll reply. Over-all this looks like a great product with lots of features. Although I am not familiar with Levana products it seems very well made.
