What Lurks Beneath exhibit puts visitors under the dock and just below the water’s surface to observe how human action affects various aspects of sea life.

 

This exhibit features five habitats, which contain discarded items such as cans, bottles, fishing poles, lobster traps, car tires, and even a toilet.

One of the many unique features of Groovik’s Cube is that users can play from anywhere in the world after museum hours. Once Liberty Science Center is closed to the public, anyone can log on to their website to see a live video feed of the cube and use the web version of the 3D model to solve the cube.

This unique projection-based experience allows visitors to interact with a variety of dinosaurs once native to Nevada and the southwest—and to do so touchlessly.

Inspired by it’s beauty and diversity, this exhibit followed the path of a family that was exploring Australia for the first time. A journal that recorded their findings would serve as wayfinding signage, leading the visitor through various interactive exhibits and tanks.

 

This exhibit would have featured fish, plants, and animals, all native to Australia.

The elegant wooden "coasters" contain patterned conductive bases recognized by Ideum's Tangible Engine object-recognition software. CWS is a year-round program that offers the chance for athletes to engage in a full spectrum of confidence building sports.

Visitors explore and identify asteroid light curves.

 

Ideum collaborated with Lowell Observatory on an exhibition all about asteroid science. The entire exhibition is a fictional school, Space Guard Academy, where cadets learn all about asteroids and "rank up" as they participate in different interactive learning modules.

At Stashed, a newly-opened shoe and clothing store in San Francisco’s Dogpatch neighborhood, LED arrays are embedded in merchandise display furniture. When customers pick up shoes resting on one of the hidden panels, a scrolling message about the shoes’ design glows through the wooden veneer. Ideum worked with design firm West of West to develop the Raspberry Pi-powered units.

The student team of Magda Else Becker, Lina Zhao and Feryal Khawar beautifully presented an overview of their Interactive Design 2 course project, Sooul — an experiential site for circus-inspired training — and revealed their rigorous design process. Perry Chua (http://www.perrychua.com), branding and design expert extraordinaire, delivered an extremely motivating speech on visualization.

Ideum worked with Stashed and design firm West of West to create "stealth" LED panels embedded in the store's furniture. When a customer picks up a pair of shoes resting on one of the hidden panels, a scrolling message is revealed through the furniture's veneer.

The idea behind this logo was to highlight a star as the symbolic representation of the spirit of the games.

DESCRIPTION:

This mark promoted the 2000 Winter USA Jr. Olympic Hockey Festival.

Christ Church Outdoor Signage

The goal was to create a dynamic sign that retained the historical look and integrity of the building. Brushed steel mixed with the structures old blonde and red brick, bring about a unique and progressive result.

 

Christ Church is located in Denver, Colorado, at 7th & Colorado and was established in 1927.

When customers examine the right pair of sneakers, a hidden panel displays a scrolling message through the veneer. Ideum collaborated with design firm West of West to develop these custom interactives to help the store tell the stories behind their products.
