I took this photo a few years ago for an old university project. I never really looked at it as a stand-alone image before today, but I quite liked it, so here it is!
It's a really cool camera, but I don't know much about it. It was in amongst a number of vintage film cameras in my lecturer's (Clive McCarthy) office. I put together a booklet, which was commissioned for a larger print run by the University of Lincoln.
In the JCB wine tasting experience, visitors' glasses will interact directly with the table via custom capacitive bases engineered in collaboration with Graphene 3D.

Ideum collaborated with Lowell Observatory on an exhibition all about asteroid science. The entire exhibition is a fictional school, Space Guard Academy, where cadets learn all about asteroids and "rank up" as they participate in different interactive learning modules.
Ideum developed 5 connected interactives, as well as a student registration station, a system to track student scores and ranks, and a "hall of fame" displaying the pictures of recent graduates. To learn more about Ideum's Creative Services, visit our website.
The Dynamic Desktop will change the way the people work. For the first time, tangible objects can be used to interact on a project capacitive touch screen. These objects can unlock new features, transfer files, share media and add secondary layers of interaction to the desktop. All interactions performed in this video were conducted with real objects on an Ideum multitouch table with a standard 46" 3M MultiTouch screen. PROJECT: The primary mark for the Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club, a NationalHockey League team.
DESCRIPTION: Formerly the Quebec Nordiques, the franchise moved to Denver where it was renamed the Colorado Avalanche. A highly publicized national campaign generated much anticipation of the re-d esign of the logo. Ranked as one of the top selling team logos in NHL history, the Avalanche would win the Stanley Cup in their first season after the move, and add another in the 2001 playoffs.

Monday night was the official kick-off party for Design Week Portland at The Plant. The music was bumping, makers were making, and 500 or so of the coolest people in Portland were in one place.

A view inside the 100" multitouch, multiuser exhibit table developed by Ideum for Adventure Science Center in Nashville, Tennessee. The table has two computers and projectors and a contiguous surface that allows several people to interact simultaneously with the same program.
The table uses infrared LEDs and infrared cameras to track multiple points of input.
With a 100" surface and an 86" viewable area is it among one of the largest contiguous multitouch tables ever developed. The screen has a 16 x 5 ratio aspect and a 2304 x 800 pixel, high-resolution screen.
The exhibit explores the electromagnetic spectrum. The extended aspect ratio mimics the spectrum itself, from radio waves to gamma rays. Visitors can then move images across the table and see how they are imaged in each waveform.
The exhibit displays a variety of celestial and terrestrial images in a variety of wavelengths. For example, NASA images of the sun can be seen in all wavelengths. Common and iconic objects were photographed in a variety of wavelengths. For example, a birthday cake with lit candles, a toy robot, an alarm clock, and even a hand holding an iPhone are seen in visible, infrared, ultraviolet, and x-ray.
The haptic tempered glass and aluminum and steel construction make the table incredibly durable. Blue LED lighting makes the table stand out. It will be part of the Space Chase Gallery at the Adventure Science Center. This exhibit will be open to the public on November 7th. The table is based on Ideum's commercially available MT-50 multitouch table. The software was built in Adobe Flash using the Gestureworks multitouch SDK and framework for Flash.
