VoteEasy.org is a voter education tool that was designed to allow the general public to quickly and easily see how closely political candidates align with their views on 12 key issues. It utilizes thousands of hours of research and a vast collection of data assembled by the nonpartisan group, Project Vote Smart. It is the most up-to-date resource for candidate political information, including voting records, interest groups ratings, campaign finances, and personal biography.
The site allows visitors to interact with 3 levels of data, including exploring all candidates running in a particular state, those running in a specific district, and the individual details of each candidate.
As visitors rank the importance of 12 key issues, the lawn signs respond by jumping forward and back to show the similarity of their candidates.

The Event was organized by Peter Dudic, Laura Richardson, Ysanne Choksey, and the ICD Human Rights Team
Octalight is an octagon shape interactive light lantern.
There are two different coloured light displays at the top and bottom on each side of the octagon shape.
The lights on the top half of the octagon shape are activated in sequence from one side of the octagon shape in clockwise manner.
While the lights on the bottom half of the octagon shape are activated in sequence counter-clockwise.
The hand covering the top of the light sensor triggers the light streams. When activated, the top and bottom light stream will be lighted in tandem in clockwise and counterclockwise manner.

SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii – An interactive lei making workshop was held at the Sgt. Yano Library, here, April 28, in time for Lei Day, May 1. The lei, an international symbol of aloha, has been honored with its own official celebration since 1927, according to www.honolulu.gov ( www.honolulu.gov ) . Today, the Lei Day Celebration is held at Queen Kapiolani Regional Park and Bandstand. Events include a lei exhibit and adult and children’s lei contests. The U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaii’s Native Hawaiian Liaison Office and Army Libraries co-sponsored the lei making workshop.
