The Lonsdale, located in the Intake area of Doncaster, was a large community pub serving the local residents. It was built during the inter-war period and was last refurbished in Autumn 2012. The pub was part of the Greene King Meat & Eat portfolio. The Lonsdale was situated only 200 yards from Doncaster Race Course, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors.
The pub was closed and boarded up 31 December 2016.

Intake is a suburb of Doncaster in South Yorkshire, England. It borders Town Fields, a large area of public land based on Town Moor Avenue. The area is known for its mix of private housing built up to the 1930s and council estates developed during the prosperous 1950s and 1960s.
Intake is also home to Sandall Beat Woods, a significant green space in the area. Historically, the name "Intake" appears on maps dating back to the nineteenth century, indicating its long-standing presence in the region.
Well... another half frame shot from the fun to use Olympus EE-3. Can't remember now which type of film it was snapped onto, but probably some Fomapan or something. I remember it's around Glasgow somewhere at the banks of The Clyde at a pier where our ship docked for a few days during a mobilisation for some work west of Ireland.
This sunny lil reservoir was at the intersection of Hwy 168 & South Lake Rd. The place was packed with fishermen & women (most had Obama stickers on the vehicles too).
