The atmospheric sounder spectrometer for infrared spectral technology (ASSIST) instrument measures downwelling atmospheric radiance. The ASSIST II was part of the instrument deployment outside Thunderhead Lodge in the Steamboat Springs ski area for STORMVEX.
The 2010-2011 Storm Peak Lab Cloud Property Validation Experiment (STORMVEX) field campaign saw the deployment of the second ARM Mobile Facility (AMF2) to Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The purpose of the campaign was to collect data on clouds and precipitation in a complex terrain, specifically a wintertime and mountainous environment.

This street performer plays the hang which is an instrument usually built in Switzerland. You can't buy it elsewhere. The legend says that every individual gets his own hang and usually accompanies the instrument builder during the act of manufacturing the hang. Nueve cuerdas, afinación por cuatro: sol, do, mi, la sol. Curiosamente y sin afán de polemizar, al menos en la afinación, esta jarana resulta estar más apegada a la tradición que la que me hizo Corro en Tlacotalpan... Ironías de la vida.

Las fotografías están liberadas para uso personal y se pueden subir a las redes sociales de personas individuales.
Asociaciones, cofradías, e instituciones pueden descargar las fotografías si bien para su publicación en medios escritos convencionales o virtuales deberán pedir permiso a la Asociación Redobles, que dará sin ningún `problema, pues tan solo es un tramite para conocer dicha publicación.
Las fotografías en el album no están por orden de tiempo, sino aleatoriamente.

This group of dedicated young performers of the viol (a stringed instrument popular up to the 18th Century) played a range of dance music and other works from the 16th and 17th centuries during a concert given in St. Mary’s Visitors Centre, Gateshead Quays. The Consort was directed by Mr John Finnon, Master of the Viols.
The Avison Ensemble is proud to have sponsored this year’s Music Celebration Week presented by Gateshead Music Service. Hundreds of children across Gateshead were involved in workshops, sing-a-longs, demonstrations and concerts, as well as a WOPPING big, music-filled picnic at Gibside!

The Avison Ensemble is the outstanding period instrument orchestra based in Newcastle upon Tyne, which plays and popularises the music of Charles Avison (1709-1770) and other English classical composers of the Baroque period, such as Garth, Arne and Herschel. The Ensemble also performs Purcell, Handel, Vivaldi, Corelli, Geminiani, Pergolesi, Teleman, Rameau, Bach, Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven.

Le teponaztli (1250 - 1500) Se joue avec des marteaux en bois ou cornes de cerf avec une extrémité recouverte de caoutchouc, ou bien tout simplement avec leur mains en frappant la surface. Ce teponaztli a été par les Tlaxcaltecas, avec lesquels les Mexicas célébré les fameuses guerres de fleurs. Il représente la figure d'un guerrier qui se traîne sur le sol. Il a été sculptée avec des éléments très élaborés tels que une bande frontale avec une plume de la guerre et une courte cape de plumes lié à l'avant. cette pièce se trouve au Musée National d'Anthropologie du Mexique
Saturday evening 1st Feb 25 was interesting. A semi-orchestral tribute to Radiohead inside Ely Cathedral. A six part string quartet plus a really rather good scratch cover electric band. The light show was a bit minimal in the vast space, but the performance was certainly worthwhile with some interesting arrangements of Radiohead classics.
Strangers 22/100 -- Anna is a volunteer for the Anderson Symphony Orchestra. She was helping to introduce orchestral instruments to children and adults at an instrument petting zoo. He had a 3/4-size violin, a flute and a clarinet. In exchange for sitting for her portrait, I agreed to listen to her description of the ASO's upcoming season.
