Accumulated Instances I 50MM

The idea behind these images is largely described by the title. The period covered by each set is determined by the capacity of a 2GB memory card.

I've been shooting with a single focal length (50mm in this case) concerning myself mainly with the changing light through the day and how it interacts with the things I see on a daily basis. I don't view the shots until the card is full. The best are then selected from the card unedited and uncropped, exactly as they were shot.

I'm generally OK with buying one of a set, but sometimes you gotta go for broke. Such a property would be Darkstalkers, as its' not like we see them very often anyway, but in the instance that both Morrigan AND Lilit are offered and it doesn't break the bank, I'm there to support 100% of the way.

The Pop Up Parade stuff certainly is affordable, even in the strictest sense of the word. They're a bit more expensive that Prize Figures, but you're getting a figure that shares more characters of a true scale statue. Coming in at slightly larger than 1/10, I've generally been pretty happy and would rather have these smaller sizes than larger Prize figures that are lacking much of the quality.

Morrigan and Lilith are two parts of the same soul, though IRC Morrigan is the dominant part. Have loved the character since her inception, and I've a soft spot for her brattier other half.

Both characters are sculpted in their traditional costumes in their P1 colours. For whatever reason, the face on Lilith turned out better than Morrigan, though they're both kind of off IMHO, specifically the eyes.

If you look at the photos, you'll see there's a few frills. The base isn't the greatest but at least they're better than the Prize Figure ones. More importantly, you'll notice that there's generally a more dynamic pose, actual musculature that shows up on the finished piece, some nice fine detailing such as the hair and the texture of the bat wings. There's also more paint than you would see on a Prize Figure.

That's not to say that things are all perfect, as it's not that hard to find artifacts of its lower price point. Tolerance for acceptance on QC is much more forgiving, so you end up with things like paint chips, some foreign matter in the paint and, probably most obvious, poor finishes in the form of seamlines that are kind of half ass sanded.

If I'm being completely honest, while I don't have many of them, these probably having the roughest finish of any Pop Up Parade piece I own, and those one equally have some nice curves.

I wonder if this is just luck of the draw, or are things going wonky for this batch.

In this instance I used a plastic bag with Plaster of Paris to create a 3 dimensional representation of negative space. I photographed this under intense lighting with a backdrop.

You probably know the traditional story about serendipitous innovation - that in the world of science, it's the accidental discovery, the unplanned moment, the sudden eureka instance that has led to great inventions. Things such as penicillin, Post-It Notes, and Velcro. The concept of random exploration without a purpose has long served the world of science well.

But in a world that is now defined by fast-moving technology, it's not just accidental discoveries that matter - it's the unplanned acceleration of new concepts that can matter. In a world dominated by new technologies such as AI, 3D printing, drone technology, advanced materials science, and other trends, serendipity matters. Many organizations know that new leading-edge technologies will increasingly come to define their future, and yet they aren't quite certain how - and so the best idea is to invest in the future with uncertainty defining the strategy.

Smart leaders know that the way around this is through serendipitous -innovation-on-purpose - let's call it the intentional accidental discovery. They seek to set their innovation energies on fire by encouraging their younger, interactive generation to explore opportunities for the digital, disruptive future through what I've come to call an Xbox room!

I also wrote about this some time ago in a separate post.

`Why? Because this generation gets it, knows how to innovate, and is the most powerful force for change in our world today. Consider the reality:

- half of the global population is under the age of 25

- we know they are globally wired, entrepreneurial, collaborative, and change-oriented

- and they are now now driving rapid business model change, and industry transformation as they move into executive positions

With that reality, organizations are realizing they should allow this generation to light their creative energies on fire, even if they aren't sure as to what they might do or where their efforts might go! The idea is to set them up with an innovation facility by which they can explore and accelerate the adoption of leading digital tools throughout the organization that can accelerate innovation efforts, provide for better collaboration and so much more. They can do so without the need to establish specific goals or to achieve certain budget metrics - spend away, figure things out, and we're sure it will pay off somehow.

Case in point: I spent some time in St. Louis with Amsted Rail: they manufacture the 'bogies' which are the wheel-undercarriage assemblies found on railcars. It was a thrill for my wife and me to have a tour of their manufacturing facility before my talk to see what they are doing to realign themselves to opportunities for innovation in manufacturing. And the tour included what they call their iLab -- or, what I would call for the fun of it, an Xbox room! In this facility, they are continually examining a variety of ideas as to how to continue to move the organization forward. This includes exploring a variety of ideas and technologies, including:

- state-of-the-art brainstorming centers to facilitate ideas colliding from all corners of our company

- real-time employee collaboration tools across geographically diverse sites (to promote "a collision of ideas")

- how to use connected SMART Boards to simultaneously write/draw/share over any application using "digital ink"

- 3D scanning/modeling systems to enhance product R&D and quality capabilities

- advanced tensile testing techniques for enhanced product strength & durability

I had a chance to chat with the young fellows in the Xbox room -- and listen to their ideas. It's obvious its a rocket engine for innovative thinking!

That's but one example: the more I witness what organizations are doing to accelerate innovation, the more I discover some sort of 'Xbox room.' I commented on the same type of thing when speaking at a major conference on the future of trucking in Phoenix. While on stage, I spoke about a company in Winnipeg, Canada -- Bison Trucking. They've set up a facility to encourage younger staff to explore how to align the fast pace of technological change in trucking to opportunities for digital technologies -- read an extensive blog post about their efforts in the post Trend: In Trucking, Aircraft Control Towers Are the New Offices.

There are plenty of others - Xbox rooms seem to be springing up everywhere!

Here's what you need to think about:

- you should set up a digital facility with all kinds of 'toys' relevant to your industry, and set the creative energies of a group of young staff free to explore

- don't set any specific goals, objectives or deliverables on the project -- simply set it free to explore!

- explain the purpose and mission of the group to the rest of the organization, and encourage them to bring unique problems to the group

Go ahead - make an Xbox room!

I've got an event with a construction company in a few weeks and was pleased to discover a young fellow who seems to have the same role!

Innovation that comes about by accident can be critical in a fast future. Organizations that have a culture of rigidity and control, where experimentation and risk-taking are discouraged, never quite succeed as quickly as those who do not. They have a lot of siloed departments and a lack of cross-functional collaboration; a focus on short-term results and immediate returns, rather than long-term innovation through accidental discovery; a lack of diverse viewpoints and ideas, and more of a homogeneity of thinking; and they don't devote enough resources for experimentation and exploration. This means that they lack an openness to new ideas and different perspectives, and thereby avoid the opportunities that can come from serendipitous discovery and unexpected opportunities.

Avoid this by encouraging frivolous innovation; investing in leading technologies without knowing of a specific return; being prepared to learn from failure; letting employees pursue their hobbies and passions; encouraging curiosity and offbeat ideas; learning to encourage projects that have uncertain goals and unknown outcomes. Consider this in the context of AI - we know it is going to have a profound impact but aren't quite certainly exactly what that will be. Hence, with AI, adopt a mindset that 'we don't know where we are going but we are making great time!"

If you aren't doing this - if your leadership style;e demands that every invested moment achieve some specific goal, some certain return, some absolute objective - you won't be terribly well prepared for the future.

In many instances, commercial properties offers quite a bit more likelihood of profits when compared with a residential property. The excellent opportunities might be tougher to get, though. Thus, please read on to learn to know the potential profit associated with a component of commercial property and the ways to make wise investment decisions.

Don't make any big real-estate purchases until you've evaluated the unemployment rates, income levels, and expansion rates of your area. Homes that happen to be located near schools, hospitals and also other major employers are assigned a better resale value.

Take photos by using a high-end camera. Be especially diligent in photographing any flaws which one can find if you transfer, like cracks from the wall or stains about the carpet.

When diving into the field of commercial real-estate, it is very important relax and also be patient. Will not go deep into a great investment out from haste. If you opt for a house that doesn't meet your requirements, you'll sorely be sorry. It might take some months, possibly each year, for your personal dream investment to seem in the marketplace.

Pest management can be something you must explore when renting or leasing a house. This is particularly important when a region is recognized to have pest and rodent problems. Before signing a lease, ask your agent precisely what the current pest management policies are.

Make it a point how the price that you just require in actual estate is realistic. There is a large amount of variables in relation to what gives you success.

When you are linked to renting commercial properties, try your greatest to ensure they are filled. If you've got open spaces, then a person will turn out purchasing maintenance and upkeep. You must contemplate why properties will not be getting rented and correct any issues you find.

Make certain that you're not looking for an unrealistic price for your personal property. Market conditions may vary greatly therefore, an appraisal is probably not the ideal indicator of true market price.

Using what you learned, you must now know some terrific basics in relation to buying commercial real-estate. Don't end up in a rut, and try to anticipate to answer the shifting sands of your commercial property markets. You should certainly recognize some golden opportunities that others don't spot, and then make some profitable deals. plus.google.com/+GeorgiaPortableBuildingsDouglasville/about

This is a screenshot of memcacheProbe, a tool that I wrote to give us a peek into our memcache instances at LibraryThing.com so that we can see what types of keys are being set, how much memory they are using per key, mins, maxes, etc.

It's written in PHP and I plan on releasing it for others to use after I clean it up and generalize it a little more.

The key type column shows the basic type of key. These are not the actual key names, but are a generic form of a key name. So it may list 'geocoder' but an actual key that uses that key type would be something like '3:geocoder:88.1:-120.4:100'. Hovering over one of the key types will show a tooltip with an example of one of the actual keys in memcache.

You'll notice that I'm limiting to 10 keys per slab. I did that just to take this screenshot. Normally I use the full 4k keys per slab option. Any more than that and it runs into memory problems with our installation. At 4k per slab it returns nearly a million rows of data. I think that PHP has problems with anything over that. It barfs. But 4k per slab gives us a peek at about half of our total memcache footprint so I figure that's a pretty good indication of how resources are being used.

For instance, a 2015 Gallup poll showed that 70 percent of Americans polled believed that people who drive while impaired by marijuana are "not much of a problem" or only a "somewhat serious problem," whereas a minority of 29 percent felt it was a very serious problem.

People believe marijuana is a safer alternative to alcohol but doesn't it impair our cognition as well?

JNUSU Call For Action Against Growing Instances of Rape and.

Molestation!.

4.5.12.

Call For ACTION Against Police INACTION and.

.

DEMAND A SAFER DELHI-NCR FOR WOMEN.

.

Protest Rally 5th May Tomorrow, 11am To 1pm.

Assemble at Ganga Bus Stop at 10 am.

From Mandi House To ITO.

Called by Citizens Collective.

Against Sexual Assault.

.

In Delhi alone, according to official reports, one woman is raped every 18 hours, one woman is molested every 14.

hours. 465 rape cases were registered in 2011 (till December 10th). And even the Delhi Commissioner of Police,.

B.K.Gupta accepts that `Not all rape cases get reported'. In the past few months alone, we have heard of the most.

horrific cases of rape, molestation and other sexual assault even in public places..

.

What is most shameful, apart from the actual incidents of sexual harassment and molestation, is the.

attitude of the Delhi Police and others in power who are supposed to ensure punishment for perpetrators.

of violence on women..

.

Just recently, a sting operation by Tehelka revealed that police officers in the NCR region believe most women `ask.

for rape'; they believe that women who wear modern clothes, have male friends, drink alcohol, are divorced, etc.

are all `provoking' men to rape them..

.

The sting also showed how these cops have a deeply ingrained bias against women from `Darjeeling, Nepal, North.

East', saying that these women are all `prostitutes' who falsely complain of rape. We have also seen senior police.

officers like KPS Gill, Chief ministers like Sheila Dixit and Mamata Banerjee, principals of colleges in Delhi and.

elsewhere showing the very same patriarchal biases prevalent in society. We also have official advertisements.

telling us that "real men" should "protect" women and protest against sexual harassment..

.

The fact of the matter is: what we need is NOT patriarchal `protection' for women, but equal access to public.

spaces. Is it not also the same notion of the need to `protect' women which guides men to control their sisters' or.

daughters' friendships, relationships and mobility; to ask their wives to avoid wearing jeans; and to commit `honour'.

crimes? When a woman is sexually harassed or molested, we need to blame the culprits, and NOT the victim for.

dressing `indecently' and thus inviting rape, for being out late at night, or for `daring' to go to a pub. Real equality.

and dignity means that women have an equal right with men to access public spaces and workplaces without fear,.

irrespective of what time it is, what they are wearing, and whether or not they are accompanied by male companions,.

and who those male companions are. In other words, the concern ought to be to that of gender equality, rather.

than the patriarchal ideology of masculine guardianship and `protection' of women..

.

Moreover, we need to recognize that sexual harassment and violence are crimes of power, they are NOT.

crimes of `lust'. In several cases, instead of the accused being put on trial, it is the woman complainants who face.

a trial of character and morality. Why does this outrageous injustice happen? Even court verdicts that have given.

severe punishments to rapists claim that rape is motivated by `lust'. But sexual harassment, rape, and other forms.

of sexual violence are not motivated by lust, these crimes are an assertion of patriarchal dominance and power..

.

JNUSU appeals to the student community to participate in large numbers in a United Protest Rally tomorrow.

(May 5th) from Mandi House to ITO, to call for action against rape. We demand:.

.

· The Commissioner of Police must publicly take responsibility for the statements made by his.

department/officials (as revealed by Tehelka). He must break his silence on the matter, and state.

clearly that sexual assault is a crime that will not be tolerated..

.

· The Police must immediately respond to complaints of crimes against women and follow the legal.

process. Action must be taken against police personnel who fail to do this..

in different instances, we have to stretch and shrink ourselves. obviously, in this case, i had to shrink to get through the door. the Lord asks us to be open to new things and new ways of venturing. sometimes we are going to be compacted and sometimes we are going to be given a lot of breathing room.

it's all part of gaining more and more trust with the Lord.

the more we begin to realize that all of these obstacles are worth what the Lord is waiting to give us, they don't become so bad. shrinking down a little bit to get through a door begins to become fun and adventurous. i love how the Lord changes circumstances by just changing our perspectives of things.

Photographic techniques capture electromagnetic wavelengths beyond human vision, revealing features invisible to the naked eye. These signals are processed into interpretable forms using methods like color mapping.

Pink lacks a specific electromagnetic wavelength, while grey poses a limitation due to its representation of only intensity—a blend of light and dark without spectral specificity. Imaging techniques reliant on spectral variation produce identical results for greyscale images unless non-visible data is present. Deviations from this uniformity may indicate errors, misinterpretations, or unknown phenomena.

Contention persists over analytical debates, including dismissible claims like Van Allen belt dangers and contested evidence of lunar mirrors. The precision of laser reflections targeting a moving 3x3-foot marker on the Moon highlights technical skill but often fails to resolve skepticism. For instance, a 0.1° shift moves a laser spot 670 km across the Moon's surface.

Forensic analysis (2022, 2023) of Apollo 11–17 photographs assessed authenticity claims. Images of humans in space, Earth, and the Moon's distant views were validated, but Moon landing visuals showed variations, suggesting diverse techniques may have replicated certain elements.

PEMi (Photoelectromagnetic Image) software enhances forensic analysis by differentiating natural and artificial light sources, revealing hidden features. Each PEMi-ID links to original sources, ensuring traceability and comparison.

late at night, dressing according to their own choice and taking independent decisions about entering into or coming out of .

relationships. Liberty and freedom for woman in many such instances achieved through a difficult and relentless struggl,e by the student community for sure comes as surprise to many ofus including women who forthe first time enterthis university. .

But most ofus receive such liberty and freedom not as an unfortunate shock but with appreciation ofhow freedom and equality among genders only help in better and mature understanding about each other. Generations of students in this campus have experienced how a freer interaction among not only the two genders but people coming from different regional and cultural backgrounds have helped in better understanding of the 'other' and breaking down of several .

, .

stereotypes about the 'other'. The atmosphere offreedom is not only liberating for women butalso for men who now con share a space of friendship based on equality which is so uncommon otherwise. .

' for only one gender and thus making them.

Then how is this newness of equalit y and freedom supposed to generate 'shockhelplesstogetinto such obsessive mode ofviolence? In fact, aren't those who believe that 'culture shock' leads men togetinto mode, actually disturbed bythe breaking down ofunequal hierarchical relationship between the two.

genders more than anything else? While itis importantto create an inclusive atmosphere of co-operation so that people from different cultural backgrounds do not feel alienated in a new atmosphere, any attempt to deny the existence of patriarchal common sense in the name of confusion created due to 'culture shock' is only an escape route and not honest attempt to address t he issue. The act of violence of3PtJuly has also been named as a natural outburst of hurt feeling due to a sense of rejection. We are asked if the woman was sufficiently 'sensitive' and 'convincing' in her 'explanations' for breaking offor rejecting a relationship. Ifshe said 'NO' rudely, we are told, it would very naturally create a disturbance in a male's psychology whothen is forced to take such extreme steps. Again, have we everthought: how does it become so natural for us to thinkthata woman saying 'NO' to a relationship is more rude and unjustified as compared to a man saying 'NO'? Why is itthat a woman's actofindependence .

by saying 'NO' is seen as 'naturally' generating a violent reaction by the ·man who has been rejected? Are woman never rejected in a relationship? Does not it generate a sense ofgrief and hurt among them? Will we accept it as 'naturor and .

'acceptable' ifa woman who is rejected were to respond in the same violent and oppressive way? Isn't it perhaps the case that .

in a relationship, a woman is seen to be 'possessed' by her partner, and that is why it is only she who does not have the right to enter or come out of a relationship according to her own choice? Don't popular films and songs survive on everyday .

manufacturing ofthe ideas ofwomen as objects ofdesire tobe possessed? Many ofus may remember appreciating thetunes of 'tu ha kar ya na kar... tu hai meri kiron', without being able to understand how the denial ofa woman's agency becomes 'disloyal' woman who has.

naturalizedthrough nice music and an entertaining plot. Or lately, the portrayal ofa 'heartless' and rejected a boy has been collectively enjoyed by all of us through the beats of 'kolaveri' is also a part of the process of .

naturalization ofthe idea ofa rude woman who says 'NO'. A 'NO' is also often interpreted as 'hothopenna dil pe ha hoyenga' thus disrespecting her ability to take decisions for herself. While many of us in JNU would accept that institutions like khap panchayats should not exist in a democracy, that acid attacks on women are not acceptable or attacking a woman with a cleaveris inhuman, have we really been able to acknowledge that only this much is notenough? Unless we critically lookinto ourideas about women in every aspect of life and respect their right to express consent or denial at any stage of relationship of intimacy, we will only continue to nurture a mindset which eventually could manifest itself through an attack with a cleaver. There are manifold small acts of 'possessiveness' and .

aggression (obsessive, repeated smses and phone calls, etc) which we accept as 'chalta hoi'... which all help to create the .

climate where an attack with a cleaver is waiting to happen. .

The task ahead for ensuring a gender-just campus Although the incident of 3151 July has shaken the campus, the campus community has accepted the task ofdeep introspection and accepted the challenges for building a gender-just, violence free and truly liberating campus space for people from all the genders, regional, cultural and economic background. This is still the campus which responds with responsibility in cases of .

such gender violence and ensures several other forms of freedom such as free movement for both the genders in campus .

spaces. The radical student movement in JNU has ensured the establishment of Gender Sensitisation Committee Against Sexual Harassmentfollowing theguidelines ofVishakha Judgmentbythe Supreme Court. The previousJNUSU in 2012 demanded institutionalisation ofthe gender sensitization program at the beginning ofacademic year which had been achieved through .

a consistent pressure by the students. The demand by the previous JNUSU for preparing a gender sensitit:ation module and .

making ita part ofcurriculum in every discipline was passed bythe School ofSocial Sciences Board ofStudies .The task nowis to ensure that such a module is prepared at the earliest. Transforming ideas about gender stereotypes can be achieved through a dialogue among the campus communityabout genderrelations and women's autonomy. .

Two instances of the clock Cent Vignes de Beauséjour interconnect in the hyperbolic space via gears. A blue clock is adjacent to four green clocks, and a green clock is adjacent to five blue clocks. This pattern is known as “truncated order-5 square tiling” and is configured so that the blue clock and the green clock are equal sized in Euclidean space.

The idea behind these images is largely described by the title. The period covered by each set is determined by the capacity of a 2GB memory card.

I've been shooting with a single focal length (85mm in this case) concerning myself mainly with the changing light through the day and how it interacts with the things I see on a daily basis. I don't view the shots until the card is full. The best are then selected from the card unedited and uncropped, exactly as they were shot.

Protest Against George Bush's Visit to India: The visit of George Bush to nur country ic; one of the moc;t shameful instances of subservience to imperialist interests exhibited by the UPA Government. The JNUSU maintaining its rich legacy of anti-imperialist struggles organized a large number of programmes in campus to mobilize the students. The } JNU students came out on the streets of Delhi in massive numbers to protest against the visit of the mass murderer. ~ .

27% OBC Reservation and 54o/o Scat Increase: The JNUSU welcomed the proposal for 27% OBC reservation and 54% increase in seats. We believe that this decision of the government is a significant step in the direction of providing education to all sections of the society. The JNUSU mobilized the students in favour of this proposal and organized the biggest pro-reservation demonstration in Delhi on June 3n1 ]twas because of the pressure of the JN USU that the Administration had to publicize its proposals for the 54% scat increase. According to these proposals the University has demanded Rs 306 crores for implementing the 54% scat increase. .

communal goons in our campus in front of Lohit and Chandrabhaga Hostel. The Admmistration and the police refused to register the case as one of caste abuse and violence. The JNUSU met the Home Minister and the IIRD minister in this regard demanding strict acuon against the guilty. The Administration as a result of the pressure of JNUSU constituted a three member enquiry committee to look into the case. The report of the enquiry committee is still av. aiteci .

While the JNU students' movement under the leadership of the JNUSU achieved significant gains o¥er the last year, the role of the JNUSU President has been unsatisfactory. Instead of providing leadership to the student movement m campus, the JNUSU President for most of her tenure has been inactive and was absent from campus during crucial phases. The JNUSU President chose not to communicate to the students about the PM's visit to our campus despite being a part of the committee which decided on the PM's visit to our campus. The JNUSU decided to protest against the anti-people policies pursued by the UPA during PM's visit and mobilized students for public meetings and protest marches. The JNUSU submitted a memorundum to the PM and the HRD Miruster enumerating our opposition to their policies. \Vhile the JNUSU Council decided not to disrupt the Public meeting certain elements disrupted the PM's speech and the right wing engaged in large-scale violence against them. The JNUSU President was completely absent during this time. The JNUSU Council however felt that the role of the JNUSU President was highly irresponsible and therefore she should be publici} censured and not impeached as demanded by a requisition of the students. The E-UGBM endorsed the position of JNUSU Council and the JNUSU President was censured. The E-UGBM also condemned the incident of violence and demanded action against those guilty of it. The JNUSU President in a most undemocratic manner denied accepting the mandate of UGBM. The Council therefore decided not to cooperate with the JNUSU President. ln a similar fashjon the J~USU President was completely absent from campus when the campus was debating on the issue of OBC reservation in .

institutions of rugher education and students under JNUSU's leadership were building a movement against the casteist campaign of Youth for Equality. The JNUS U President took no initiative when student union v. as carrying out a survc) and mobilizing students for financial assistance last semester. .

In the coming year, the JNUSU needs to build up a strong movement to ensure that the admmistration reverses its decision of amending rules and procedures of GSCASH, prcssurise the administration to notify the election of students to ~ Board of studies and AC, and prevent any move to privatisation of JNU academic and student life. We would li~e to ~ appeal to you to extend your full support in order to carry forward these struggles in the ~-.

In many instances, Herod appears to be a weak ruler. He is pressured into decisions by other people. He wants to kill John but fears the reaction of the people. His step daughter pressures Herod into executing John the Baptist. He follows through with his promise to give Herodias’s daughter her wish because he is afraid of looking bad in front of his dinner guests. Herod is a fearful, weak man who allows his fear and weakness to lead him into bad, sinful actions.
