After installing the posts, our carpenter is plugging the bolts. These plugs are hexagonal, and hand cut to size. You can see one ready to be inserted in his left hand.

Installing bamboo floor by Betty Pettit

Dad had to remove all the particle board sub floor and install this plywood sub floor before he could start the bamboo. The black spots are where he had to put patches of tar paper to build up low spots. He also had to sand many, many high spots before he could cover the plywood with black paper and install the flooring.
