Press photograph taken in connection with the installation of a new vicar at Christ Church in Oakworth, taken on 28th September 1981. The new vicar was the Reverend Calvin Ward, a married man with four children, who had previously been Vicar of Esholt. The induction was performed by the Bishop of Bradford The Right Reverend Geoffrey John Paul. Also present were the Archdeacon of Craven (the Venerable D. A. Rogers) and Rural Dean (Canon Richard Gregory). Ward was in post until 1990 when he left to join St Peter’s Church in Allerton. The story was covered in the Keighley News of 2nd October 1981.
In 2021, Keighley and District Local History Society acquired an extensive collection of photograph negatives taken by the Keighley News. Groups of negatives were held in small wallets with the date and basic labelling written on the wallet. This image is developed from one of those negatives. The image was processed by Tim Neal in 2021.
Installation of lanterns at the Dragonfly Lake are in progress for the Mid-Autumn @ Gardens by the Bay for the official opening light-up from 22 September 2017.

"The Quiet and Ugly Artist (Hanoi, 1965-2015)", An art installation by Daniel Kerkhoff at Chaap Art, 82 Đê Quai Street, Tây Hồ District, Hanoi. October 3rd to October 11th,, 2015. Opening reception, October 3rd, 6-9pm.
An installation based on Daniel Kerkhoff's self-imposed artist-in-residency in Hanoi from February 6th to October 26th. It is part of a larger project which includes residencies in Ghana and Ecuador. Embedded in a community for just under nine months, the human gestation period, premature, a gradual, a creative process,
an exploration, noticing, weaving, sharing, and witnessing, connection, disconnection, a journal, found sculptures, painting, photographs, videos, documenting, collections, keepsakes, collages, receipts and brochures, maps, business cards and consumer packaging, consumed and consuming, souvenirs,
walking, discovering, travel, a paper trail, colonize, appropriate, trophies, convoluted, cover-ups, muddy, history, memory, remnants, experience, lost, absorbed, traces, vague, melding, a buried presence, fading, rotting, germinating, misunderstanding, forgotten, pollination, rejuvenation, impermanence, transformation.

Yi’s installation populates the space with machines. Floating in the air, her machines – called aerobes – are based on ocean life forms and mushrooms. They re-imagine artificial intelligence, and encourage us to think about new ways machines might inhabit the world.
Installation of the 900 tonne circular bagasse bin at Fairymead for the 1976 season. The centre distribution assembly is supported from the trussed beam in the bin. The elevating distribution/ reclaiming conveyor attaches to the bottom of assembly.
Water-themed art pieces have been setup at five locations at and around Enkikan.
Have a look at the link. Due to the snow, I couldn't go out into the garden. I had thought from the photos that these were jade. I mean, the artist would have to be pretty well-off, right? I really wanted the tactile feeling off touching huge pieces of jade. It was nice enough touching textiles, but not quite the same!
Construction on the new home of Installation Management command at Fort Sam Houston is nearly complete. It is located in a former regimental complex with the old barracks being converted in to offices. The headquarters staff is in a new building on the old parade field. Much of the character of the old buildings remain, including the original exterior facades and verandas.

Florence House is a Home for chronically homeless women in Portland Maine. It's an inspirational place... a group of women trying to start over, and banding together in a place of support, love, and sympathy. I approached my mosaic group, the Piece Makers, with an idea: to each create a mosaic peace dove, and I will assemble them all into a mural of birds in flight on a wall at Florence House.... each dove different, but coming together, and moving in the same direction... just as the women of Florence House are doing. Today I installed the 17 doves, and they look amazing! They were installed in a communal area, and as the doves went up, the ooo's and ahhh's made me well up. Of the women that were there while I was installing, they all had favorites picked out, loved reading where they were all from, and were so amazed that strangers had created these pieces for them.
Tomorrow morning is the grand opening of the new face of Matahari Dept.Store at Lippo Supermall Karawaci.
Matahari rushed a new branding process to keep up with the new Debenhams store nearby. What a mistake. Never rush branding. Their Management should take time to sit down and read "How to drive your competition crazy" by Guy Kawasaki.
