In keeping with the idea of posting photos that celebrate friendship, this is dedicated to my friend Experiments in Dreaming , whose photos are filled bits of insight, messages from the unconscious, and unsinkable hope.
This portal of light was created by using a soft focus filter on my Helios 85mm lens. It gives a strange aura to luminous points in the photo, and when done right, it adds a healthy dose of magic to an image.

An overview of the driver's vision in the middle of the winter night.

The e320 has a powerful lighting, a real comfort compared to other trains.
Due to the low light and the freehand image, I focused on the outside, creating a cozy atmosphere in the cabin.

An A-B-A set of F-7's sit at Star, NC on property of the Aberdeen, Carolina & Western at their main shops way back in 2009. They appear to be here to become a "star" themselves as the AC&W business train locomotives. Well, this ex Milwaukee unit is a long way from home, and I don't believe much has happened with her since this photo. Anyone with an insight?
