I know that this shot won't win any awards for originality here in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains anymore. In fact, these are probably the most photographed curves in Saxony. I have also photographed this perspective twice.
Nevertheless, today, on the drive home from a sunrise tour, I couldn't resist.
I hope the insiders among you will forgive me for removing the street signs in the background.

Many years ago and in another life, my work took me to almost every prison in the state. Some were grim places, others places of opportunity and positive energy. One such prison had a dairy, piggery, bakery and the prisoners farmed their own vegetables. They also had magnificent flower gardens.
Which brings me to today's theme, flowers from the prison garden. Taking photos of inmates was forbidden, but I managed to get a shot of this Spider who was serving a life sentence with no chance of parole. Apparently he had been the central figure in a web of deceit that claimed many unsuspecting victims. Do the crime and do the time, as they say.
This is no photo, it's just an insider tip. I found that page randomly and believe that many people with a sense of humor will like it, too.

Donna Curall said: I have put the funniest stories in an Album entitled, Very Funny Stories. None of this hilariousness would be possible without the very funny comments of my Flickr Friends. You have to start at the beginning of each photo and read all the comments.
Disclaimer: I never know where my stories will go. Some may be a little off-color, but it is all in good fun. If you have a sensitive nature you may not want to read: “Homer’s Bucket,” “One Word-Drones,” “Garden Center or Law Office,” or “Hen House?” Then again you may want to pop in on those first.
Please visit and comment and play along. Laughter is good!
