Climate activists held a Boston Fee Party rally on the Boston Harborwalk to highlight the reliance on fossil fuels for energy resulting in skyrocketing electric rates. The crowd of advocates, health professionals, elected officials and residents encouraged Governor Healey and her administration to lead Massachusetts in pushing the regional energy grid operator, Independent System Operator-New England (ISO-NE), to be more transparent, democratic and more renewable. Advocates called on ISO-NE to work with states and communities to stop propping up dirty energy electrical generation sources for use in the Northeast. Additionally, transition to 100% renewable energy through conservation, electrification and expansion of clean, local, safe renewable energy sources. Encourage small-scale and decentralized energy production and storage that protects the environment. Govern transparently and democratically with community input on infrastructure siting.

The Colorado Technology Association (CTA) is traveling across Colorado July 20-24 to gather input, listen and learn from tech communities outside Denver and Boulder. CTA’s offices are located in Denver, but members are scattered across the state and CTA staff wants to get to know them better. The primary goal of the Colorado Tech Tour is to gather insight on how the technology industry impacts - or could impact - each local economy.
The Colorado Technology Association will be joined by Colorado Innovation Network (COIN), Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, Governor's Office of Information Technology and Go Code Colorado.
Individuals representing a tech company, startup, STEM education program or Colorado innovation are invited to join us. The tour attendees are looking forward to an informative tour of the state, which will allow them the opportunity to connect with new and established companies. During listening sessions, the Denver delegation will meet with community and business leaders to understand challenges and opportunities that exist in each region.
Each day, happy hour events are open to any and all members of the tech community. Join us at a nearby event, or grab some coworkers and make it a road trip! Please RSVP if you plan to join us.

Tot això origina el filtre amb què interpretem el món. I tot això està en el nostre cervell que genera tot un seguit de programes que de repetits i repetits es fan automà tics i subconscients. La nostra felicitat i sens dubte la nostra salut depèn de quins programes tenim instal·lats i com funcionen, ja que el cervell rep, interpreta i integra una infinitat de senyals externes i internes i connecta amb absolutament tot el nostre organisme.
Els nostres gens codifiquen les nostres proteïnes, i elles generen tota l'estructura i funció del nostre organisme. Però cada un de nosaltres fem servir un percentatge mÃnim de gens per al nostre funcionament. La resta es troba inactiu. Per tant hi ha un immens potencial no explotat en el nostre organisme per optimitzar el nostre funcionament. Els gens poden activar-se o inactivar, generant més o menys una proteïna en relació a senyals externes a ells. Aquests estudis conformen una part molt important de la genètica coneguda com epigenètica. El mà xim regulador del medi intern és sens dubte el cervell situant-se, com no pot ser d'altra manera, com la peça clau en la senyalització epigenètica, enviant missatges hormonals o de neurotransmissors.
Si acceptem com certes les afirmacions anteriors hem de pensar que la nostra salut i la nostra felicitat depèn en una bona part en com funcioni el nostre cervell.
De quins missatges està enviant als nostres òrgans i teixits perquè els gens en cadascuna de les nostres cèl·lules s'activin o desactivin i codifiquin o no determinades proteïnes. Per exemple si vivim constantment en ansietat, generarem uns senyals hormonals i neurològiques molt potents que codificaran una resposta generadora de malaltia per al nostre sistema endocrÃ, immunològic, respiratori, digestiu, múscul-esquelètic significatius. Molts generadors d'ansietat viuen en aquests programes automà tics i inconscients amb què reaccionem a la vida.
Aquest tipus de comprensió holÃstica de l'ésser humà és el que busca la salut integrativa. Intenta generar un estat d'atenció conscient a aquests programes que tenim instal·lats i que podem ser capaços de canviar per generar salut, benestar i felicitat ".

Circuit shows the 3x 18650 batteries, charger input and relay switching.
When not connected to the USB 5V charging source the relays are not energised. This connects the normally closed contacts to the common contacts which is the position shown above. This arrangement connects the 3x batteries in series producing ~12V. The switch S1 connects the batteries to the LED board fitted in the lid of the box. This illuminates an array of LEDs organised in a pattern to generate the number required, in this case #5.
When a charger is plugged in the relays change contact position to connect the common to the normally open position. When this happens the batteries are connected in parallel with each other through 22 ohm series resistors and connected to the charger which is set to produce ~4.1V. The resistors limit the current flow between batteries if there is any imbalance.

The input stages are seen here. Pictured are the input jack, integrating preamplifier, comparators, duty cycle limiters, and XOR gate. Combined, these parts generate the PWM waveform that drives the output stages.
While I was in there, I popped the circuit board to inspect all the solder joints (all were fine) and I replaced the PCB-mounted jack with a shunted Switchcraft jack. This takes the pressure off of the circuit board when plugging in and un plugging your bass. These solder joints are always the first to go.
Turns out I didn’t need the shunt.
