One of the really great proprioceptive input exercises that my eldest enjoys is carrying around heavy objects; things like a book bag or a basket of clothes. Imagine my surprise, this afternoon to see that her little sister had volunteered. For a good twenty minutes she piggy backed all 38 lbs of DD2 as they ran around the house playing horsie.

The Colorado Technology Association (CTA) is traveling across Colorado July 20-24 to gather input, listen and learn from tech communities outside Denver and Boulder. CTA’s offices are located in Denver, but members are scattered across the state and CTA staff wants to get to know them better. The primary goal of the Colorado Tech Tour is to gather insight on how the technology industry impacts - or could impact - each local economy.

The Colorado Technology Association will be joined by Colorado Innovation Network (COIN), Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, Governor's Office of Information Technology and Go Code Colorado.

Individuals representing a tech company, startup, STEM education program or Colorado innovation are invited to join us. The tour attendees are looking forward to an informative tour of the state, which will allow them the opportunity to connect with new and established companies. During listening sessions, the Denver delegation will meet with community and business leaders to understand challenges and opportunities that exist in each region.

Each day, happy hour events are open to any and all members of the tech community. Join us at a nearby event, or grab some coworkers and make it a road trip! Please RSVP if you plan to join us.

Program speakers include Erik Mitisek, CEO, Colorado Technology Association; Anna Ewing,

Executive Director, Colorado Innovation Network (COIN) and COO, Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade; Jonita LeRoy, IT Economic Development, Governor's Office of Information Technology; and Andrew Cole, program manager, Go Code Colorado at Colorado Secretary of State's Office.

The tour is supported by sponsors including Centurylink, Swiftpage, ViaWest, GTRI, NetApp, 23rd Studios and YellowDog Printing and Graphics.

On Sunday night I will have access to a red Chevrolet Colorado. Lighting around the car will be softer. Will make the shot later at night, so that the back and head lights will be more visible in the picture. Also, the back hatch can be down, thus no need to blur the license plate. Suggestions?

Input in any club, all an impromptu, during the same time salute in honour of May, 9th, in general is cheerful!

This recipe is found on the back of Publix's Sockeye Salmon fresh frozen fillets. They are boneless and skinless.

NOTE: I have personally used this product and prepared this recipe. I am not compensated in any form for giving my input on this product.

1/4 cup whole almonds

1 large zip -top bag

2 teaspoons of chili powder

2 teaspoons of paprika ( I didn't have this, used red pepper instead, a bit more spicy)

1 teaspoon of garlic pepper seasoning ( I used 1/2 tsp garlic powder and 1/2 tsp of pepper )

12 oz. Publix Salmon fillets thawed (there are 2 fillets in a pack) pictured above

non-stick cooking spray

1/4 cup of maple syrup

1 tablespoon lo-sodium soy sauce

Prepare the salmon:

1. Put almonds in zip lock bag, then crush almonds to look like course size bread crumbs.

2. Add all the DRY spices then shake to mix

3. Heat saute' or skillet pan, I used a skillet. to med-high heat. Coat it with non stick pray.

4. Spray salmon with non-stick spray and place in bag and shake to coat with spices and crushed almonds. Coat evenly on both sides of the salmon.

5. Cook Salmon 3-4 min each side or until fish is opaque and separates easily with fork. (I overcooked mine LOL by accident )

6. Remove salmon from pan, to the pan add syrup and soy sauce. simmer 1-2 minutes until sauce begins to thicken. Serve sauce over salmon.

I DID NOT do step 6, as I was out of soy sauce. I actually topped it with Marie's All Natural Coleslaw Dressing. This is a sweet coleslaw sauce, so it substituted well. I am sure it gave it a different taste too.

This was about 5 minutes to prep, 12 min to cook

Hence my overcooking the salmon

Served this with fresh coleslaw

and fresh fried corn cut from the stalk, sauted in butter and sea salt

See photo in stream for a served plate.

I got a tablet after getting frustrated with my Microsoft mouse; I got tired of trying to draw a circle round a selection and getting something that looked like a map of Europe instead.

Girma Tilahun, 25, is a young farmer. Since taking advantage of input loans provided by Busa Gonoffa, his land has grown. So much so, that he now has to take 3 quintals of seeds as opposed to the mere 100KGs of seeds he took on his first round.

More than half of the population on the African continent works in agriculture. Despite its large economic share, the sector has failed to harness its full potential, due to a lack of modern tools, inability to maximize productivity and difficult access to financial markets. The Strengthening African Rural Smallholders (STARS) programme has improved the professional conditions for thousands of smallholder farmers and has given them a fair chance.

Access to finance for Ethiopian farmers

STARS is a partnership programme between Cordaid and the Mastercard Foundation. The five-year programme (2017-2021) develops market systems to improve access to finance and markets for over 200,000 farmers in Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Senegal. In Ethiopia, STARS has improved access to finance and markets for 66,000 farmers, impacting a total of 330,000 household members.
