A New Jersey Youth ChalleNGe Academy Class 49 candidate has his hair cut during in-processing at the Joint Military and Family Assistance Center at the National Guard Armory in Bordentown, N.J., Oct. 23, 2018. During the next two weeks of the 22-week program, the candidates will undergo an acclimation phase where they will adjust to the program’s physical, mental and social discipline. The voluntary educational program provides 16 to 18 year-old high school dropouts a structured residential program in a quasi-military environment where they can earn a general education development diploma. [This could be either Matthäus Merian the Younger (1621-1687), a Swiss painter or his father, Matthäus Merian der Ältere (or "Matthew", "the Elder", 1593 - 1650), a Swiss-born engraver who worked in Frankfurt for most of his career, where he also ran a publishing house. It would probably help if we could read the whole inscription, because I think there is another name in the first line.]
Title enclosed within elaborate woodcut border made up of four panels: Emperor and Pope standing to the left and right of the title: upper panel with Christ, surrounded by the electors on one side, and depiction of baptism and Last Supper on the other; bottom panel with large coat-of-arms of the Pfalzgraf bei Rhein.
