Is this the expression of an innocent creature?
Last December, on my way to my hometown, I stayed at a rural hotel (as mentioned in recently posted photos).
Upon reaching the last available chalet, to everyone's surprise, there was no electricity to run the TV, air conditioning, refrigerator or all the available lamps and sockets.
A few minutes later when the electrician arrived and checked the electrical grid on the roof, he came across this creature that had gnawed about one meter of a tangle of seven eletric wires.
Known as "Maritaca" / Psittacara leucophthalmus is an extremely noisy parrot species that seems to have an identity conflict, as it behaves like one of the most efficient rodents, making it a nightmare for rural producers.
It's common also in urban environment where, in addition to waking everyone up just after sunrise (always flying in pairs or groups chatting loudly and happily), in the absence of anything else to do, they gnaw wood roofs, electrical wires and whatever else they find on the way.
So I ask again: is this the expression of an innocent creature? Or guilty but with no regrets?

White is the lightest color and is achromatic (having no hue). It is the color of objects such as snow, chalk, and milk, and is the opposite of black. White objects fully reflect and scatter all the visible wavelengths of light. White on television and computer screens is created by a mixture of red, blue, and green light. The color white can be given with white pigments, especially titanium dioxide.

Mike used to be a seasonal hunter before he met me. I then told him that if he wasn't going to eat it, he shouldn't hunt it. He switched to fishing which is mostly catch for me to photograph and release.

Captured during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2018. I was lining up this shot for the next available opportunity and this young lad stepped into the frame with his yellow drink, Minions "I Didn't Do It" shirt and that eye contact.
