The Mercedes-Benz W128 was a 6-cylinder automobile that was available in sedan, coupé, or cabriolet body styles and produced from October, 1958 to August, 1959 (Cabriolet A/C and Coupé to November, 1960). Its main model, the 220SE, was the last of the "Ponton" series
The 220SE featured a unitized body/frame construction and fully independent suspension. All models were fitted with a 2.2 L (2195 cc) straight six petrol engine with aluminum head, overhead camshaft, and Bosch mechanical fuel injection. An automatic clutch was available with the column-mounted 4-speed manual transmission.
At the time, the cabriolet was priced similar to Cadillac's Eldorado Biarritz at 23,400DM
Nearly every interior surface of the coupé and cabriolet was covered in leather, and matching leather luggage was available.

Die Luxuslimousine vom Typ Mercedes Benz 300, bekannt als Adenauer-Wagen, war der erste deutsche Repräsentations-wagen nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg — schnell, bequem und solide.
Das Fahrzeug, das 1951 der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt wurde, festigte den Ruf der Firma Mercedes Benz als Produzent technisch herausragender Wagen. Es entstanden verschiedene Varianten. Vom Typ 300 d wurden von 1957-1962 gut 3000 Stück gebaut. Er hatte eine im Unterschied zu den Vorgänger-modellen modernisierte Karosserie und ein Automatikgetriebe. Der Motor war mit Einspritztechnik ausgestattet, die aus dem Rennwagenbau übernommen wurde.
Der „Große Mercedes" war ein Traumauto, das der politischen Prominenz, wie Konrad Adenauer oder Ludwig Erhard, und Stars und „Wirtschaftskapitänen" der Nachkriegszeit vorbehalten war. So gehörte das gezeigte Fahrzeug dem Gründer des Versandhauses Witt-Weiden. Fahrkomfort, weiche Federung, leichte Bedienung und großer Innenraum boten den Besitzern auch eine gediegene Reisequalität.

The luxury limousine model Mercedes Benz 300, known as the 'Adenauer Wagen' for Konrad Adenauer, the Chancellor of Germany, who used the car on state occasions, was the first German prestige model after the Second World War — fast, comfortable, solid, and respectable.
The vehicle was presented to the public in 1951 and shored up the reputation of Mercedes Benz as a producer of technically advanced cars. It was produced in several variants. 3,000 units of model type 300 d were manufactured from 1957-1962. Compared to its predecessors, this car had a modernized body and automatic transmission. The engine with its fuel injection technology had been adopted from racing car manufacture.
The largest of the Mercedes models produced at the time was a dream car seemingly reserved for prominent German politicians, like Konrad Adenauer or Ludwig Erhard, and the stars and tycoons of the post-war period. The vehicle on display belonged to the founder of the German mail-order house Witt-Weiden. Its comfortable ride, cushioning suspension, ease of operation, and roomy interior also made the quality of travel elegant for the owners.

So, last week I met a guy. We ended up having sex.
He was good looking, nice and so we swapped phone numbers.
All well and good.
Then on Friday I get a message.
“I got tested positive for Syphilis, you need to get checked out. Sorry.”
(there was more in the message, but that’s all I saw).
So, being the cosmopolitan city boy I am, I trotted along to the clinic on Monday morning for a check up.
The doctor said it would be too early to see any symptoms or even find any antibodies, but I do have the option of getting treated for it – as a pre-emptive measure.
So I figure, okay, it’ll be two tablets and glass of water. So I agreed.
A nurse comes and takes all the swabs, blood tests and samples given – I know the routine. I’ve get an M.O.T. regularly.
Later I get called by a different nurse. She says she has been assigned to give me the treatment.
“Have you had it before?”
“No”, I say
“Oh, well there is no way to suger-coat it. Its going to hurt”
-two tablets and a glass of water? Hurt?
And out come the needles. Two of them. One for each buttock.
And she was right, it did hurt. Really hurt.
Will I see the guy again? I value honesty and respect above all else.
I think a “round two” might be in order. Well ,,, after the injection does its job.

Hello There!
A couple of months ago I made a partnership with the Legend C MOC to produce some of my custom minifigure designs.
The first "duo" was my Episode 8 Snoke and Kylo Ren.
They are high quality pad printed on all the 4 sides of the minifigure plus on the arms.
The "gold lines" on Snoke was printed with metallic gold paint just like the official Lego minifigure.
Kylo has an additional custom injection moulded lightsaber.
