Description: These meshes were constructed recurring to highly accurate geometric models based on CT (Computed Tomography) images of the human mandible and teeth. With these meshes it is possible to build models capable of predict stresses, strains, deformations among many other biophysical parameters. Particularly in this case, the primary objective was to analyze the biological answer of alveolar bone during teeth movement provoked by orthodontic forces in order to define better strategies to induce physiologic teeth movement.
