【古宇利島】
ハナリヴィラコウリがある古宇利島は、沖縄県北部にある碧い海に囲まれた周囲およそ8kmの島です。沖縄本島からは海で隔てられていましたが、2005年に古宇利大橋が完成、沖縄本島から橋でつながった屋我地島を経由して、陸路で行き来できるようになりました。

[Kouri Island]
Kouri Island, where Hanalee Villa Kouri is located, is an island of about 8km in the northern part of Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, surrounded by the wonderful blue sea. Although it was separated from the main island of Okinawa by the sea, the Kouri Bridge was completed in 2005, and it is now possible to come and go by land via Yagaji Island connected by a bridge from the main island of Okinawa.

Sydney has a new hotel, the first new build luxury hotel in Sydney's CBD since the Westin Hotel opened in 1999 at No 1 Martin Place, and the first since the 2000 Olympics.
The $500 million Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour opened its doors on Tuesday Oct 3rd 2017 for a charity fundraiser but was not opened officially until a few days later, on the 6th October by NSW Minister for Tourism and Major Events, Adam Marshall.
The 590 room 35 level Sofitel Hotel is conveniently located opposite the International Convention Centre and is right in the centre of Darling Harbour with easy access to the city and by ferry to Circular Quay.
The hotel is owned by part-time Sydney cosmetic surgeon and Australia's biggest private hotel owner, Dr Jerry Schwartz with Sofitel Darling Harbour his biggest undertaking to date.
With its infinity pool overlooking Darling Harbour and commanding views over the city, Darling Harbour and west over the Anzac Bridge, the hotel is sure to prove popular with Australian and international visitors to Sydney.

From the edge of the infinity pool at Jade Mountain, a flower is framed by the iconic Pitons of the Caribbean.
The Marina Bay Sands Skypark and the Singapore skyline. I was just mesmerised by this view and could have taken lots of photos from all different angles -- that is, if I'd been allowed to use my tripod! I saw plenty of people covertly trying to use theirs but there were too many staff in this area so I didn't even try. Instead I set the camera to ISO 4000 and did my best with what I had!

Its a challenge to see something new in a place you've visited several times. Luckily for me, Remlin spotted this,
Usually I look at the view but today the skies were hazy
This picture was taken before the last hour to 2012. Lots of people had already gathering at the top of Marina Bay Sand (58th Storey), infinity pool to get the best shot to see the firework.
As tripod is not allowed, I have to ready bump up the iso to 1600 at f2.8 with 0.2 sec shutter speed to get a decent picture hand held.
