A long walk and a plant on a wall.

This was taken during a break in the rain on the Mississippi River.

Sony NEX-5 Full Spectrum IR, Sony 18-55mm lens, 720 IR Filter, Edited in Adobe Lightroom Classic.

For this project, we were told to take a photo of half water and half nature/shrubs/plants.

What i did was take a picture from across a lake so it would be 50/50 with the water and nature.

What I like about this is the cool infared look and what I dont like is i couldve got more nature.

Block Party @ Coyotes in Wellington March 09 with Scribe, Percieve (ft Lil Moe & D Rail), BNB, Beatrootz.

I am facinated by the cameras detection of infared wavelengths. It just looks red to me, but purple to the CCD array!

They had a cooler of ice so kids could see how it changes the heat patterns on faces.

at dinohill in p-hill. the sun was too bright to take a proper exposure. the infared works well in this instance, imho

One of the comments on the original shot suggested it would look good in monochrome so I thought I'd give it a try. Edited thru Picnik and thought the Infared Film effect was rather fun.

my first attempt at simulating IR film with digital

Playing around with IR Photography. These were taken with an 85mm lens and a IR720 filter on a Canon 6D. Color changes were achieved in Photoshop using the "Camera RAW Filter" feature. Top images is the original out of camera.
