My daughter nearly killed this Epipremnum aureum, or "Pothos" (Devils Ivy). You can chop up the vine and grow new plants. Put them in water for a couple of week and roots should appear. Most of the clippings have some roots now.
I'm still on the fence between a flood system or a wick system, though the wick system would be easy to do.
What ever I end up doing, I need to get the substrate. So my quest for rock wool, vermiculite, perite, or expanded clay continues. The craft store and Walmart doesn't have it. I need to try a gardening store. Maybe I can get to one tomorrow.
I made this to experiment making homemade yoghurt and tempeh. At the moment it needs more insulation so not as efficient as it could be, even so it still maintains temp within 0.5 deg on a cold winter's day.
I originally designed it to sit upright (so that the LED faces up) but am going to modify it to sit more like a fridge, as you see it here.
Total cost of materials was AU$25 for the temperature controller and JD15 (approx AU$21) for the wood. The other bits (light bulb and socket, etc) I had lying around.
Cassandra wipes down baby's hair. His I.V. was in his leg this day. They had a lot of trouble with his IV during the first week, and they almost had us convinced to put in a PICC line. Luckily he did so well he got to shed his IV entirely after just over a week!

This apartment building was once an Infantorium or incubator hospital for premature babies. Part of Wonderland Amusement Park in Minneapolis, it is located at the intersection of 31st Ave S & 31st St. Opening to the public in 1905, with the rest of Wonderland, it operated for 7 years. The first floor contained a room in which incubators were exhbited behind glass. The doctors and nurses lived on the second floor. It is Wonderland's only extant building.

In cooperation with the Snétberger Music Talent Center CHB established a new talent development program for young Roma musicians. First participants in the program were Orsolya Janszo (singer) and Attila Farkas (piano) who received personal mentoring and several training courses by Berlin-based, acknowledged Hungarian musicians.

Here is Napkin, the Faverolle "egg of fate" on its lonesome in the incubator. The incubator, by the way, is by RCom and is excellent so far, being easy to use, keeps humidity and temperature constant, turns the egg every couple of hours until the 18th day.
