it's been a while since I posted anything - busy busy time for me.
anyway, this is continuation of my wandering adventures in Osaka;
crossing yet another interesting bridge in Kita-Ku area right by the city hall.
bridge is divided for two levels: local traffic and pedestrians on first level and highway on the top.

After a long hiatus, we have a working oven once again. Bigger, newer and fancier than before. It's so freakin' epic, this photo does not do it justice.
And yes, the first meal baked in it was cyan (a tuna casserole to be specific).
In case you're wondering, it was delicious.

2010|365: A Design Project
In an effort to keep from getting creatively stagnant as I go through the course of a 9-5 design job, as well as staving off general laziness, I've undertaken this personal project.
Every day, rain, shine or somewhere inbetween, I will be making something cool. The results may be photos, design pieces, experimental type, videos, or anything else I feel is worth showing. The only caveat will be that each piece will have to be made that day, even though it might not get posted on the same day.
The end result of the project will be a book (possibly 365 pages long, maybe shorter to reduce costs), which I will make available to anyone who wants to pay for one.
You can track the project at the 2010|365 website or check out everything else I get up here.
Not sure if these ruins are older or if they were created during the siege of Dubrovnik in the 90ies...
Also done on 12x12, also incredibly small. Sorry for the bad sizes I realize a lot of the better detail goes missing.. ugh.
these types of work are done without a sketch involved- I love doing them because they are a constant challenge to make minimal or no visible mistakes. I do so hope they are well recieved here.
I love that skull.
Despite being in a nice place to eat, sitting beside the large windows I could not help but notice the blue hour arriving. So, I made my poor excuses and went outside
Coming home from Calabasas one day. I was bored and took this. The bottom is the original, and the top was edited in Photoshop. I couldn't decide between the two, so I just stuck them together! Problem solved.
This is a stinky camera-phone shot, btw.
