Chicken and red peppers in a red wine sauce with rice. Fresh spinach salad with olive oil and a balsamic vinager reduction.

Sauce: liberal amount of red wine with salt, pepper, brown sugar, paprika, minced garlic and some corn starch for a thicker consistency.

I had a mechanical problem at the end of my inbound commute yesterday so I had to try to fix it at the office....

Home Depot, naturally, did not have the correct stakes for the edging, so we had to improvise by bending some others.

This, by the way, is my little shop behind a secret door in the garage. I sometimes refer to it as "the store" because I tend to stock up on stuff and leave it in the packaging so I can hang it on my peg boards.
