For those of you who are petite, you'll know the agony of a transoceanic flight with your feet dangling inches from the floor. the short deserve support too.... enter the travel bag shoulder strap - improvised in this situation to provide a foot rest for mes petites pieds.
(This is aboard a United flight from LAX to Sydney, Australia. - I've since noticed that Cathay flights have tray tables that don't have struts on them like these.
In the factory's last days, someone apparently patched up this pipe with an old pair of corduroy jeans.
