Improved Health of Women and Adolescent Girls in Situations of Vulnerability (IHWAG) Project Review of Best Practices in Guyana.

The purpose of this mission to Guyana is with the primary objective of gathering audiovisual materials that highlight best practices and demonstrate the positive impact of the IHWAG Project in Guyana. This is in line with the visibility and advocacy objectives of the Project as it nears its conclusion in 2025.

This review of best practices is a joint effort between the PAHO Guyana Country Office, the IHWAG Project Management Team, the PAHO Communications Department (CMU), and the Latin American Center for Perinatology, Women and Reproductive Health (CLP)

The IHWAG Project would like to showcase the achievements made particularly in Georgetown and in Region 9 with respect to the implementation of the SIP+. In consultation with national counterparts, the collection of a three-to-four-minute story-based video, photographs, and testimonies are key to achieving this objective. It is anticipated that these materials will be included in the final communications product of the Project, a digital logbook.

To improve access and safety from Santa Barbara to the Los Padres National Forest, Santa Barbara County and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) will repave 6.5 miles of Gibraltar Road. Due to the difficulty of paving the vertical grades and horizontal curves, the road will be closed from April 13 through May 22 during construction.

and I thought it was a good idea to cut her hair! Woke up this morning and thought 'o my god what have i done?'

But I think I like it now.
