As part of the whole, home improvement project, we updated and repaired the door molding to the garage. This is new stuff made out of pvc. It will never have water damage.

I didn't OVERply this time but there is a strip in one of the skeins I should have cut out where I started to ply and it was a bit too loose.
DYSLEXIA turned Thomas Edison into the most creative inventor of last century. Who knows what he created? Who knows how many brand-new inventions he made? The creativity of a persistent, persevering person with dyslexia is incredible! #Writing #Improvements #Dyslexia #Reading
I BELIEVE wholeheartedly that if we can change how our kids view themselves and if we can change the language they use about dyslexia, it will dramatically increase their confidence and their perseverance. Use words carefully to redefine how your child sees the world. #Parents #Courses #Dyslexia #Improvements #Children

Same meal. One taken a year ago, and one taken just the other day. This clearly shows how I've improved as a food photographer and how Sarah has improved in making meals. We make a pretty awesome team! :)

This was part of a altered book swap--but this one was not a book, it was a house! My page was covered with paint chips and then some magazine photos of tools.
I was visiting with my dad, and he suggested that the holes were for flowers. :) I don't know why I didn't think of that.
Scott's been busy with various home improvement projects around the house, including the baby's room. Click here for more photos.

Christmas gift from my sister, who went to Prague lately. I like how it points up how wonky the electrical fittings are...
I'm a bit irritated about this. The pathway from the deck to the driveway isn't finished. I don't think the landscapers work on the weekend, so this may not be finished until next week.
I personally think they should have worked faster (they take a lot of breaks), particularly since it's supposed to rain this weekend. They spent so much time smoothing out the sand that goes under the pavers. That all might get ruined if it rains hard enough. Will they have to start over? I hope not!
