As part of the whole, home improvement project, we updated and repaired the door molding to the garage. This is new stuff made out of pvc. It will never have water damage.

I didn't OVERply this time but there is a strip in one of the skeins I should have cut out where I started to ply and it was a bit too loose.

What an improvement the new poly plastic rainwater tanks are from the old corrugated iron tanks. See the hole in the bottom of the iron tank, it let all the rainwater out!

I'm not sure it's an improvement. We'll see what happens when it rains.

I was visiting with my dad, and he suggested that the holes were for flowers. :) I don't know why I didn't think of that.

Our finished basement floor. Sorry for the "smudge" in the lower left-center of the photo...need to clean my camera. Anyway, the floor looks way better than it did before and should be much better protected from wear for years to come.
