Today, I need serenity...
I'll NEVER stop being awed by the beauty I encounter on my travels
Here, on the right banks the colour is still mostly green ever so slightly turning yellow, also Autumn!
It is serenely quiet across the water, and nothing is rippling the surface, so the reflections are smooth.
It starts to rain more, but it passes quickly, on the little beach we photograph from, there are trees which give us some protection.
Loch Lubnaig is a small freshwater loch near Callander in the Stirling council area, Scottish Highlands.
It lies in the former county of Perthshire.
It is part of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park.
It is around 5 km long, and has depths of up to 44.5 metres.
The loch nestles in the space between Ben Ledi and Ben Vorlich.
Fed by the River Balvaig from the north and drained by the Garbh Uisge to the south, Loch Lubnaig offers fishing from the shore.
Have a wonderful day and thanks for your visit, so very much appreciated, Magda, (*_*)

Claude Monet is probably the best loved of all the Impressionist painters, and he was certainly the most influential. His paintings attempting to capture the fleeting effects of sunlight at different times of the day and in various environments are still captivating nearly 100 years after his death. If anything, in our era of visual overload, the freshness of how Monet saw the world is even more striking.
..
But ...it is no so easy, to do that, and sometimes a disaster...)).
This image has been processed with the GIMPressionist filter in GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program), a free/open source program for post processing photos. In this case the intent was to make it look like an impressionist movement painting. It may still be too detailed, I'm not an art expert. For 118 pictures in 2018, #17, "impressionism".
