In yet another series, inspired by her ‘artist in residence’ period at the Vermont Studio Center in the USA, the artist sweeps the public along in her enchantment with and admiration of the breathtakingly beautiful nature which it seems held her its spell at that time.
It's very impressive how a small nation like Estonia supports its living artists and its contemporary art with a big beautiful arts center like KUMU.

This new monument was built after I had left Smolensk, so it's kind of not a part of my childhood memories. It's just there and I feel no intimate connection to it.
