I was fortunate to get a chance to get out to grab some shots on Tuesday when some areas of Northern Ireland were shrouded in mist. You might see that mist feature quite a bit in some of the shots I'll be posting over the next few days ;-)
Located in the Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center, the Lingnan Impression Garden（嶺南印象園）embodies the essence of local culture. Covering an area of 16.5 hectares, Lingnan Impression Garden houses many traditional Lingnan architectural groups. The residences are built beside river, long lanes, old gates, spectacular oyster shell walls, exquisite windows, winding streams and clear ponds are all elements of typical Lingnan water towns.

This large postcard, bought at the Fossli Hotel, has the following description on the reverse.
"This picture was takenm from the famous viewpoint at Fossli Hotel, from where the majestic Voringfossen makes the most powerful impression, plunging down for about 600 feet into Mabogjelet, a precipitous gorge, 1000 feet deep.
From this place there is also an excellent view of the wild, narrow Mabodalen. Down the steep slopes of this valley, the famous road winds its way, in dizzy curves, towards the bottom of the valley. This road, built 50 years ago by Norwegian engineers, still represents, as it did on the day of its inauguration, a considerable attraction to tourists of all nations.
The road is the main link between the East and West of Norway, and Fossli Hotel, overlooking Voringsfossen, has become the natural stopping place for tourists on their journey between the two largest cities in Norway.
The hotel is situated on the border between woodland and mountains, with the undulating expanse of Hardangervidda, offering abundant opportunities for trout and salmon fishing, close at hand. Hardangerjokelen, rising majestically to the north, about 600 feet high, with its summit capped with eternal snow and ice, is the natural goal of mountaineers."
