Did another long exposure shot here, thus resulting in some of the motion from people's movement. This unique square is the largest square among all the ancient towns in China, and the unique aspect of this square is that the stream surrounding the sqaure is designed in such a way that everynight the water will flow from the stream into the square and all the dirts and dusts will be washed away. It's still working until this day. Amazing ancient people!
Happy Pretty Pink Tuesday, everyone - i dont have any pink shots here recently.
Menin Gate Memorial to the Missing, Ypres.
Unveiled on 24 July 1927 it is inscribed by the names of 54,896 Commonwealth soldiers who died in the Ypres Salient but whose bodies have never been identified or found, except those of New Zealand and Newfoundland, who are instead honoured on separate memorials. As the monument was too small to contain all the names as originally planned, the Battle of Langemark (15 August 1917) was chosen as an arbitrary cut-off point and the names of 34,984 UK missing after this date were inscribed on the Tyne Cot Memorial to the Missing instead.
Menenpoort, Ieper.

I really wasn't sure whether to upload this one because I had great difficulty deciding just how dark this should be, especially because my screen seems to be a lot brighter than most. I recommend everybody to head over to www.ephotozine.com and use the reference at the bottom of the page to calibrate the contrast of your monitor.
