These days the wonderful autumn feeling came up. Wonderful light, wonderful colors, wonderful landscape and wonderful temperatures.
All in all was given to go for a long ride with my bike again to capture some autumn impressions around my home village.
I've been undertaking some 'tourism' based photography recently, here is one of the images of Dartmoor. This type of work is never going to 'set the photography world alight' however it brings in the pennies :-) Thanks for having a look.

The first impression of my first visit to the stadium in summer 1988 (Holstein Kiel vs Eintracht Frankfurt, a friendly): the rough crowd. I was fascinated.

Tempel Impression Bangkok
In meinem Herzen steht ein Tempel.
Der Schönheit hab ich ihn geweiht,
Der Göttertochter, die erhaben
Gebietet der Unendlichkeit.
Ihn deckten Staub und Spinneweben,
Lang stand er in die Nacht versenkt,
Da nahtest du, vor deinen Augen
Klafften die Tore, freigesprengt.
Ein Frührot strahlet meinem Tempel.
Herrin, du kommst, ich harre dein,
Der Göttin Tempel steht dir offen,
Willst du die Priesterin mir sein?

Another impression from "The night of light and sound". Its a event in Rostock/Germany, where artists work with light, shadow, sound, musik and colours. Not all have high quality , but i thought, sometimes it was interesting effects and a good time for experiments.

Early evening wind ripples on the surface of Lake Catherine, Brighton Lakes trail, Utah, USA
I was out on the 3 lakes trail for exercise, not expecting much in the way of scenery as I had started late in the afternoon and most of the trail was falling into shade from the surrounding peaks. The middle lake was completely in shadow by the time I reached it, and I took a chance after eyeing the ridgeline that the final lake might still have some sunlit sky reflections. I got a bit more than that. : ) The wind was rising and subsiding, so the ripple patterns were in constant flux, sometimes choppy like mosaic, sometimes wide like brush strokes. Looking at the shots on the camera playback screen was like leafing through an art history book chapter on Impressionism!

An Lag Mhór, Cnoc a' Stolaire, circa 2000 & 2016.
Fágann gach glún a lorg nó a rian fhéin ar an tírdhreach. Ní rud seasmhach é a bhíonn gan athrú.
Tógadh na bun-phictiúir (idir scannán agus sleamhnáin) ar chlé sa tsraith seo idir 1998 agus 2005 i mbailte fearainn Chnoc a’ Stolaire agus Dhobhair Íochtarach i nGaeltacht Dhún na nGall.
Tógadh na cinn úra (digiteach) i mí Eanáir agus mí Feabhra 2016.
Each generation leaves its own mark or impression on the landscape. The land is not a static thing.
The original photographs (film and transparency) on the left in this series were taken between 1985 and 2005 in the townlands of Cnoc a’ Stolaire and Dobhar Íochtarach in the Donegal Gaeltacht.
The new images (digital) were taken in January and February 2016.
